Jesus Christ, it was bright this morning.

Did I close the blinds last night? Wait.

Looking over to my left I spot Roma sleeping peacefully. "Liv, I'm heading out." Oh my god, we fell asleep. "Shit your friends are loud," Roma moans from beside me. He sits up, stretching, "morning." Even when waking up Roma Carter is still gorgeous. "Morning," before I do anything that could mess up our 'friendship' I get out of bed, grabbing a towel— I turn back to Roma whose lying back down, "I'm going to take a shower. You have to leave but wait until my friends go, okay?" I do not need Em and Liv finding out Roma stayed over, they'd never let me live it down. He winks at me just before I leave— I close the door quietly hoping the others are still in their rooms.

Of course, they're not in their rooms.

"How'd it go?" Great.

"How'd what go?" I obviously know what Liv's referring to but I'm not about to admit that Roma's still here. "Duh last night."

"Nothing, where'd you guys go last night?" I ask instead of answering her question.

Before Liv could answer I hear footsteps behind, really? He had one job.

"I'm guessing it went well," Em comments while Liv takes a sip of her coffee eyeing me up. Roma walks up to me stopping before he does anything overly friendly in front of my friends. Thank god he's put his hoodie back on. "I'm sorry but I have to head out. They've called in an extra practice before our game on Sunday."What do I say? I'm just stood here staring at him because I know if I look at Liv and Em I'll crack and tell them everything. Technically there's nothing to tell,  we're friends. Just friends. I think.

"Will you come to the game?" He's so smug. "Depends will Kian be there?" Roma rolls his eyes, "we both know you won't come to the game for Kian." Won't I? I mean Kian is hot, they all are in their own ways.

"No you're right, will Hayden be there?" It's kind of fun annoying him. "You're funny Ele."

"I know."

"Cocky too." He gives me one last wink before heading towards the door, "ladies."

"Bye Roma," did they rehearse that?

The second the door shuts both of them turn to look at me. Nope, not doing this at 8:30 in the morning. Before I could get questioned I rush into the bathroom.

Shit.

I don't know what's worse, the fact my friends now know Roma stayed over or the fact I'm going to a football game on Sunday. Maybe I should try to distance myself from him, we're friends. Friends don't always hang out every day.

Right?

Right?
