"And for your activity, I want you to thank your parents. Say 'thank you to them for everything they've done for you. Approach them in your way. At dahil alam kong 'di n'yo gagawin 'yan, I want you all to record it,pasimple n'yong i-record and we'll play it all tomorrow in front of the class. Dismiss."

The next day, the teacher asked for everyone's recordings. She called us alphabetically and everyone's laughing as they've heard somebody's recording.

They greet their parents at maririnig ang ibang noise after they've greeted their parents like, "oh, anong nangyari kay Gino? Dad, mukhang nilalagnat 'yan. HAHAHA".

Some noise was like, "Teka, teka first time in the history ata 'to, mom, should I record it? HAHA".

Some were like, "Naks, ang bunso ni mama marunong ng magpasalamat, HAHAHA".

Yeah, exactly. Nakatatawa pakinggan. Ikaw ba naman na tila mag t-thank you sa parents mo out of the blue right?

"Next, Shawn William." I stand as she calls my name and I handed her my phone, but my classmates suddenly get silent.

Some say, "Ang boring naman ata sa bahay n'yo, Shawn! HAHAHA!" and they laughed.

"Mukhang nasa haunted house ka ata nito, Mr. William, wala man lang ka response response ang parents mo—" my teacher added but I suddenly cut her in.

"How could a deceased people answer, Ma'am?" She looked at me in surprise and didn't even utter a word, so I just grabbed my phone and walked out of the room.

Yes, I did greet my parents for it's their birthday today and I thank them. It's just saddening that I've just talked to a tomb.
