"D*MN!" Vann tweaked his hair the moment he was banned to enter. Kanina pa sya dyan and he's about to beg just to enter that place. I told him to stop but he don't but kept on pleasing those guards to let him in. Kulang na Lang ay lumuhod sya.

We're outside the place where his girlfriend is the contestant. Yes, she joined the pageant and I don't know but I know that she's hoping Vann to be there. But unfortunately we haven't be able to enter.

"Vann let just wait her here.." I looked at him holding a thing na maybe pang cheer Kay Avryl, gf n'ya. Yes, he's that kind of boyfriend, a super supportive one.

Umupo kami sa labas dahil ayaw n'ya naman sa car  when we heard some guy's conversation.

"That girl na kasama ni Lexa kanina?"

"Yep. I guess one of the contestant"

"I heard Avryl is her name."

"Whoa! How do you know bro?"

"Lexa's my cousin."

I looked at Vann and Wtf-! He's listening intently! Closing his fist. D*mn! This is wrong.

"Hingiin mo ang number pre! I wanna have some time with her. Hahahahaha"

" And taste how sweet she is."

Vann suddenly punched a guy who said that.

"VANN!"

*F*CK! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU- - " the guy wasn't be able to finished what he's saying when Vann punched him again

"VANN STOP IT!!"

"HOW DARE YOU TALKED ABOUT MY GIRLFRIEND!" D*mn! His eyes were like a dagger!

"VANN- -ouch!" Tinulak ako no'ng isang lalaki Kaya napasalampak ako. Vann looked at me at started to throw punches to those asshole. Until we heard a whistle and the police  handcuffed all of 'em.

I pleased the police but they were just like a deaf. They brought them all. I was about to call Tito, his dad, when I remembered that they're not in a good terms so I just followed the car.

Naabutan ko pa silang nagtatalo when I arrived.

And after an hour of talking, we're out finally.

"Vann, let's go to the hospital- -"

"No need, Leighn."

"What? Damn it! Naman Vann! You know, learn to control to your anger sometimes. Mapapahamak ka n'yan eh! Look at you! You're not even in a good condition!"

I scold him but he just remained silent.

Maya maya huminto sya and so I am and I looked at where he is looking and ...it's her.

Avryl..

"Uh. Vann sorry. I called her and I  just thought she should know- -"

"It's fine. Don't worry, Leighn." He tap my shoulder and nodded at me kaya umalis muna ako.
Ng magkalapit sila ay umalis  na ako at umupo sa isang bench but I can still hear their voice.

"Hon, I'm - -"

*Paaaak* I heard a slap Kaya napatayo ako and I saw Vann holding his cheek.

Damn! How dare she hurt my best friend! Yeah. It's my first time seeing him to be slapped. Srsly? Gustohin ko mang sigawan ang girl friend n'ya ay 'di ko magawa. I'm not in a place.

"YOU'RE LIAR!"

"WHAT THIS? YOU HAVEN'T ATTEND THE COMPETITION AND YOU'RE HERE IN THE  POLICE STATION?  ANO NANAMAN GINAWA MO HA? VANN?NICE! SO NICE, VANN! I'M SO F*CKNG CRAZY WAITING FOR YOU THERE! YOU PROMISED TO BE THERE, VANN!"
She kept on shouting at him but he remains silent. He's like that always when he's hurt.

"ANO LAGI KA NALANG BANG MAKIKIPAGBASAG ULO, VANN? HINDI KA PA RIN BA NAGBABAGO, HUH? IF YOU KEPT DOING THIS, LET'S JUST END THIS RELATIONSHIP! NO- LET'S JUST BREAK UP NOW! THIS?" Itinaas n'ya Ang trophy na hawak n'ya.

"I DON'T F*CKNG NEED THAT THING! I DIDN'T EVEN GOT TO BE THE WINNER AND IT'S BECAUSE OF YOU! " And she throw it to Vann at saka umalis.

I looked at him and there's no emotion could be seen in his face. But I know he's hurt.

Agad akong tumayo at dinampot Ang trophy at tumingin Kay Vann.

"Sorry Vann, I just need to do something."

I ran after Avryl and good thing she's still here.

"Avryl wait!-" she was about to enter her car when I call her

"Oh! Look the best friend is here.."

"You shouldn't say that to Vann.." she rolled her eyes

"Excuse me b*tch? I can say what I want to and you're out of it! It's none of your effin' business! Just get lost girl!"

I chuckled.

"Fine! Since binastos mo na rin ako. Then lemme be rude to you too."

"First lemme tell you to be matured enough, Avryl. You're acting like a child! " She closed her fist

"And don't you dare lay that filthy hands of yours  on me just like you did on my best friend who did nothing to support you and to understand that childish behaviour of yours. Sorry for hurting you!"

"And I just want you to know the truth. Nalate si Vann SA contest so he didn't be able to enter the gate. It's because he's not feeling well right now. Yes just looking at him right now, you can say how bad his condition is. And while we're waiting for you outside, he heard those assholes talking about you. Binasbastos ka Ng tropa Ng pinsan ni Lexa! And that's the reason why Vann is here! I didn't call his dad but I call you instead, without knowing na sasaktan mo Lang pala ang kaibigan ko." Nakita kong nagulat sya

"And this?" Itinaas ko Ang trophy nyang binato Kay Vann at inabot sa kanya

"Just bring it home! You don't even deserve to be the winner with such attitude!"  Tumalikod ako but I  haven't be able to take a step yet Ng humarap akong muli sa kanya

"..and remember one thing, Avryl. Learn to connect the dots first and ASKED. Don't make rush decision you might regret in the end. Think Avryl, THINK first."

Atsaka ako tuluyang umalis at bumalik Kung saan ko iniwan si Vann but he's not there anymore!

Damn! Vann! Just where the heck are you?

Kinabahan ako bigla Ng hindi ko alam.

My hands are trembling while I'm dialing his number and my phone just suddenly fell after hearing what someone said over the line.

Vann....
