Ezekiel and I were best friends and we're studying at the same university. We're close—too close to the point na iniisip nilang kami—but we're not.

Hindi kami sabay umalis ng school but we often entered the room together. Oo, lagi kaming naghihintayan sa gate. He visits me in the house during weekends, we go out together and even do late-night talks.
We're like a boyfriend and girlfriend pero hindi kami, which I hope we are— 'cause I like him. Yeah, I fell for him. I'm getting excited and acting crazy whenever he's sending me messages and whenever he's around.

Cliché but this is how my story goes.

One time, sabay kaming pumasok sa room but the teacher wasn't around yet, and one of my classmates asked me—us.

"Oh, the couple is here. Hindi ba talaga kayo? Ha?  Zeke and Nathalia?" Zyro asked. Nilapag ko ang bag ko at pumunta naman si Zeke another column ng chairs.

"You're gonna shut up or I'll make you shut up, Zyro?"

"Tss, nagtatanong lang naman, Thalia. Si Zeke na lang tatanungin ko."

"Yo, dre. Wala bang something sa inyo ni  Nathalia? Hindi mo ba talaga girlfriend si Nath?" Biglang nanahimik ang room and everyone's waiting for his answer.

My heart suddenly pounded crazily as our eyes met. What the f—

"Kung papayag ba si Nathalia na maging girlfriend ko, e." He said while looking at me.

"H-Ha?" Wtf? Is this for real?

"I said, kung papayag ka bang maging girlfriend ko." he repeat.

" Ah, syem—"

PERO DAHIL HINDI AKO PAPAYAG NA MAGING SILA, ITIGIL NA NATIN 'TONG KWENTO NA 'TO. TINATAMAD AKONG MAGTYPE.
