Peter's wrong words
SIRIUS
The past few weeks have been different to say the least. Monroe has been a little better since that night after running off with Regulus, but I knew she needed time and more than just a night in my arms to feel better. She was tired and just needed space and at times comfort.
I would give her all the space she needed when she asked and I would be there when she needed me to be there for her. I justed wanted her to be happy and do what made her feel better. Monroe needed to feel like she was in control for once.
She pushed herself into our work for the Order. We had meetings three times a week and it was now early October, we had been back at school for four weeks. Monroe, Regulus, and I were assigned to keep watch on the deatheaters within the school, while everyone else got to go out and do missions.
Dumbledore had a few of the members hesitate trusting us three with our background and relations to deatheaters. James, Lily, Remus, Marlene, and Peter would come in from mission and would tell us all about fighting deatheaters, while all we did was stalk certain students.
Monroe was at her breaking point tonight. All we had learned today was that Evan Rosier, Ace Rosier's cousin and son to the other brother of Druella, Barty Crouch, a sixth year, were meeting with Snape and Avery for deatheater talks. Ace and Regulus had to act like deatheaters to get information out of them.
I looked over at Monroe as she was listening to Lily and Marlene talk about defeating Bellatrix's husband in a dual. She sat there twirling her wand around and tapping her foot on the ground. I knew she was going to blow up any moment.
Lily started talking about how fighting for the Order felt so amazing, and that was it for Monroe. She stop twirling her wand and turned her eyes to Lily, "That's so wonderful, Lily. Honestly I just can't believe that you got to dual with a Lestrange! I mean honestly it must have been such a good fight since you won't shut up about it." Monroe said, sarcastically.
Lily's smiled faded and she sat back on the couch. Marlene looked down at her feet and the other boys all looked at each other. Regulus closed his book and I widened my eyes. Monroe had snapped at Lily before, but never like this. Never to where everyone was silent.
Monroe pointed her wand at Lily, loosely holding it, "You know what you are so blessed Lily. All of you are actually. You think being called a mudblood is so bad, which it is, but being the daughter of a deatheater is worse. In world were the pureblood princess doesn't agree with her family, she wishes she was a muggleborn. I wish I had a target on my back and wanted dead instead of having a target on my back for the power I hold."
"Monroe-" James began.
"Don't Monroe me! You all get to go out and fight against this Dark Lord, while us three are stuck here watching his followers and reporting their movements to Dumbledore. All because the Weasley's don't trust us and think we are like our parents!" She snapped.
Peter locked eyes with Monroe, "Well sometimes you sure do act like your father, so maybe Molly has a good point! Maybe we all should be scared of you and what you can do! I mean Merlin cursed you himself! Your mother and brother could have tricked you into doing this just to make you join Voldemort's side!" He yelled at her.
Regulus and I both stood to our feet. Regulus swirled his tongue around his mouth, as I gritted my teeth together, "Never compare her to her father ever again or so help me you will wish you were dealing with him instead of me. You never even met Zain, so never compare her to him!"
Monroe shook her head slowly while looking at her feet, "I really wish you all could trust me, trust us all." She looked up from her feet and at our friends, "We never even gave you a reason to not trust us or have ever acted like our parents. I just wished you could see for one moment that there is a darkside to being a pureblood. Beliefs or not, we are always trapped."
