In this chapter the sacred 28 is mentioned. I wrote it as the sacred 29, because it will be including the Airson family. Just wanted to clear that up before you read!

Talking with a mad man

"I still can't believe you kissed him!"

"I know!" I groaned into pillow, as Regulus was pacing the Astronomy Tower.

Regulus stopped pacing and looked at me, "Like you actually kissed him. Put your lips on his and moved them together. Neither of you pulled back either! Remus didn't even try to to pull back." I gave Regulus a glare, "Sorry, but this is...this is, just wow!"

I pulled up from the couch, "Do you not think I know this? I was there! I'm the one that pulled him even closer to me and put my lips on his!" I covered my face with my hands, "I regret it so much!"

Regulus came and sat down beside me, "You might want to talk to him about it. By talking, I don't mean kiss him again, I just mean talk about it. It isn't like you two can be together, but you should talk it out."

Looking up and staring out the Astronomy Tower, I saw first years and second years by the lake enjoying their time together. May had finally arrived and it had been two months since the kiss with Remus.

I had met with Regulus up here a lot within those past two months and talked about how to handle everything. Remus and I talked a bit and agreed that it was a mistake, but I didn't know if I should tell Sirius or not.

Regulus wrapped an arm around me, "Talk to Remus and see if he wants to tell Sirius or talk about a plan incase you ever decide to tell him. Everyone else would tell you to tell Sirius, but I can't agree with that. If it meant nothing and you know it was wrong and you regret it afterwards, then I think it's fine. Just don't marry Sirius if you aren't sure."

"I'm sure I want to marry him." I said quietly. "I never thought of kissing Remus, until his body was pressed against mine and there was no way to move away from each other. I never wanted to do it before, and I don't want to do it now. I'm happy with Sirius and don't want to ruin that."

The two of us sat in silence for a while. The tension of the secret was boiling and the nerves of today's mission made us sick. Regulus had been preparing for this mission for the past few weeks. He had convinced Evan and Carter that I was changing my beliefs slowly. They wanted proof, before telling Tom.

I looked at the clock, "Well, I should go get Sirius and the others. The time for the fake fight starts in just a little bit. Don't forget to make sure Evan and Carter don't interfere with the fight. Sirius and I both might blow our cover if that happens. Wait till after Sirius leaves."

Regulus nodded and I made my way down the steps. I entered the common room to see all the Marauders and the girls sitting on the couches. They were laughing and joking around, but it stopped when I entered the room.

Sirius stood to his feet and walked over to me, "It's time isn't it?" I nodded slowly, and Sirius sighed, "I hate fighting with you, even if it's fake fighting. I just wish there was another way to do this."

I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him into a hug, "It's alright. After it's all over I will be right back here and in your arms. Nothing to worry about. I promise."

Sirius smiled and passionately kissed me, "But I swear to Merlin if Rosier thinks he can touch you or even try too, because of our fight, I will kill him. No one touches my girl!"

We both laughed and held onto each other for a little bit longer. James coughed, pulling us out of our thoughts, "We should probably get going. Regulus should be waiting with them two right now."
