Just like Bellatrix
Monroe
Sitting in the parlor of Black Palace, my ears were filled with silence. Sirius and Regulus said they were going out to the town for something, so that left me home alone. Normally, I would be here with Walburga, but now I'm alone during the days I'm not at work
A crash outside the door, let me now that my husband and brother-in-law were now home. I counted down from three before I heard them both yell as they came in the house, "MONROE, WE'RE HOME!"
I sat up from my seat and headed towards the front door. I was greeted with the house-elves taking away a few of the bags the boys had brought in, but leaving them both in one of their hands. Sirius seemed the most excited about whatever he bought.
Regulus ran up towards me, "Where is the extra parchment with the family symbol on it. Oh, and some ink! I need to send a letter to the twins." He looked at Sirius, "And maybe some small boxes as well!"
Sirius walked up towards me going the boxed items in his hands. I slowly reached out and opened whatever was in the boxes. This was Sirius Black we are talking about. Anything could be in here.
As I opened the box, I gasped out of shock and a little anger. Sirius had gotten the twins their own daggers with their initials engraved on the side. He was planning on giving my children daggers.
"Sirius Black!" I yelled, "Tell me why you brought home daggers plan to send to our children! They are fifteen! We agreed on no daggers until they were sixteen! Explain yourself right now!"
Regulus chuckled, while Sirius elbowed him in the ribs, "Monroe, you know it's Black family tradition to get one when you are sixteen, or join the family. Their birthday is in two months, so why not send it to them early. Everyone in the Black family has one!"
I rolled my eyes and smiled, "Well, just wait a week or two before owling it to them. Dumbledore might have a problem if he finds out his students have daggers at school. He was pretty upset learning about you having one, remember."
Sirius lowered his head, "I thought we agreed not to speak of that again." He muttered, before meeting my eyes, "Anyway, Dumbledore's rules don't even protect our children. This dagger could be more useful for them than anything. We don't know if they might lose one of us and could need it."
Regulus and I walked over to Sirius and rested a hand on his shoulder, "They aren't going to lose any of us, Sirius. We will all make it through this wizarding war. This time Dumbledore isn't in charge. We are."
I nodded, "The twins will live through this, and so will we. Yes, some might die, but they will die as heroes. As long as we have each other at the end, that's all that matters."
Rigel
"Just blink, will you?" I snapped at Rotanev.
She smirked, "I'm afraid, dear brother, I can't do that. You see here if I blink first then I have to be the one to do Blaise's homework, but if he blinks, then he has to do mine. I have quidditch to focus on and the house cupp. I need someone to do my homework for me."
Theo rolled his eyes and looked at Blaise, "I heard Luna was mad at you for skipping your date for this."
Blaise looked at Theo in shock, blinking and losing the game against Rotanev. She shot her hands in victory. Theo leaned over laughing, "Mate, chill. You didn't forget a date."
Rotanev got up from the table and handed her load of work to Blaise, "Now, if you could excuse me I have quidditch practice to get to. Boys, you coming now?"
