The Noble House of Black class by Regulus Black

Regulus and I stood at the top of the Astronomy tower. The January cold air blowing around us. First and second years building snowmen in the snow around the courtyard. They were unaware of the battle coming for those who are not like us.

I watched them slowly as they smiled and jumped around, "They are so young, but yet the world is so messed up that they have to be hidden from the world. Tom is after muggleborns. Daily Prophet said dozen more were killed in the past week."

Regulus watched the children as well, "It won't be much longer until his targets expand farther than just muggleborns. He will come after the powerful purebloods and force them to join him or die. He will come after us."

He looked down at his hands, "Bellatrix does want Sirius to join her, but that's if she can't get me. She says I have more potential to serve Tom. She wants you and I to join her. The letters I'm getting weekly tell me how desperate she is."

We were caught off guard, when we heard footsteps approaching up the stairs. Ace Rosier appeared at the top of the stairs with his hands in his pockets. He was another pureblood that would be targeted by Tom. Evan wasn't much help either. Begging Ace to join him and make their family proud.

Ace walked up to us and leaned against the railing. He over looked the school grounds just as we did, "Evan got the mark." Regulus and I turned to him in shock, "They had a meeting over the break and apparently he was the only one Tom saw worthy enough to get the mark, before graduation."

I turned back to looking over the school grounds, "I'm worried for life after graduation. We will be spilt into two parts. Deatheaters and non-deatheaters. You two will still be in school for another year while we have a war going on."

Ace groaned, "I hate being a sixth year. I'm all alone." Regulus raised his brow, "Well besides you, Reggie, but even then it will just be us two. Once the word is spread throughout the school about who is a deatheaters, they will expect us to be one."

Regulus scoffed, "They already see us as one now. We are from three of the most famous pureblood families. They will always see us three as deatheaters, even if we are on the right side. Sirius can be seen as one, but no one would ever think of him to betray his friends like that. Monroe is blamed for her powers."

I let out a little laugh, "Are we about to get a class on the Noble House of Black? I might need it, before I marry your brother and bring the Airson and Black name together for the first time."

Regulus chuckled, "Well, Monroe, Ace, the Noble and Most Ancient house of Black, is as it seems. Much like the Palace of Airson. Proper and against marrying outside of the pureblood circle. Most of them are stuck up and have their heads too far up their own arses to see the destruction they cause. Being from that house is seen as if you are someone famous. We aren't swooned over for just our looks. It's the fame people get from being with us."

He turned back to look over the grounds, "One mistake and it's like you are a disgrace. Forgiveness is not something that was shown very much in our home. Bella, Andy, and Cissy were loved by their father, but he held a grudge against them for not being boys. Mother loved Sirius and I, but wished Druella could have had sons, so she wouldn't have to bear any children with her cousin. The whole family tree his shown to run on a lot of branches, but it's very few from how much they marry each other."

I looked down at my feet, "They make you feel like you aren't worth anything because of not believing the same. They won't even give you a chance, one single chance because from the moment you make one mistake, they yell at you that nothing will come of you." I let out a evil laugh, "But it's funny when you prove them all wrong and are the savior to the family."
