"Kirby, Kirby, Kirby, habushabudado... (Kirby, Kirby, Kirby, that's the name you should know...)"

"Huh, so what's your name, wait, my mistake, it must be..."

"Kirby!"

Kirby was enjoying this dimension already. Two new friends, a team to help, what more could this puffball need? Of couse, what he needed was his old friends, too. He wondered if the mysterious voice also kidnapped them, but Kirby didn't worry for now, as he was going to meet one of the Republics best soldiers, which COULDN'T possible have an affect on the entire story.

Metias Iparis.

"So, uh, Kirby," Metias said, "you're here because Commander Jameson is considering you to join us in our 'war' with the colonies, although I don't understand why THAT fast."

What Metias didn't know, was that this was a stupid fanfiction idea I had last week after church, and that people with ideas can ALWAYS change things up a bit. I could write the entirety of Peter Piper, but this is Kirby X Legend, not "how long can you say words that start with P."

"Docoun. (Don't count on it.)" Kirby replied.

"So, your mission now is to watch over the hospital, and make sure everything goes alright. Have we ever told you about Day?"

"Poyo, Day! (Yeah, I've heard of Day!)" But because Kirby's language isn't understood here, Metias still explained.

"Day, uh, he's a pretty harsh person to find. He once destroyed military equipment, ya know."

"Poyo...? (Military equipment?)"

"If you feel like you see him, tell me physically."

"Poyo! (Or I can use this!)" Kirby showed his walkie talkie with all it's glory.

"Or that. First, we'll see if you can get some equipment. How this?"

Metias grabbed a helmet, and put it on Kirby. It was too big, and Kirby's face couldn't be seen. He then put on a smaller helmet, but it was way too small, as it barely covered Kirby's head.
Eventually, they found the perfect size, and Kirby loved his helmet.

"Now all we need to do is fit a vest. Where's your chest?"

Kirby puffed up, but instead of a chest, he just flew up a bit. "Poyo... poyo! (I remember having a chest, though... It was when my first animal friends moved in to Dream Land!)"

"Ok, we'll talk about that later. Now the last thing we need is a weapon. How's this?"

It was familiar... was that the weird device that man was holding back at the houses? If it was, Kirby couldn't believe it... finally realizing what it's called... a dream every Kirby fan had.

Kirby with a Gun.

"Poyo! (I've seen this before!)" said Kirby.

"Heh," replied Metias, "seems like you enjoy this gun."

"Poyo? Gun! Gun! (Huh? Gun! Gun!)"

"Well, now that that's done, we can head over to the Hospital for the mission. Come on, I'll show you the way out."

And so, the two quickly went out of the building for Kirby's first mission.

"Kirby," explained Metias, "this is my friend Thomas."

"Uh... how do you do, Mr... uh..." Thomas was shocked at how Kirby looked, but by then that's not a surprise.

"His name is Kirby. Apparently he's ok to trust," Metias whispered.

"Well, how do you do Mr Kirby?" Thomas shook Kirby's hand, and Kirby understood how he had to act.

"Poyo! (Heya!)"

"Now Metias, are we leaving this thing somewhere or..."

"Yeah, to the Hospital! Jameson thought he could prove himself by coming with us! Look at his cute little gun!"

"Gun! Gun!" Kirby loved his gun.

"Alright, Mr Kirby. Let's uh, get this over with. Hop in."

And so, Kirby hops in the back seat for his mission. Although, he wondered how this would help him get back home. He wondered and wondered, all the way to the hospital, and still, Kirby couldn't connect with it. So he just went with it, and entered the hospital.

"Kirby, your position is at floor 2. Near the elevator. If you have any troubles, tell me through my walkie talkie. I'll be heading back to get my soilders with the trucks." Metias started to enjoy being with Kirby.

"Poyo! (On it, Mr Metias!)" replied Kirby. Off ran Kirby, as he puffed himself up and flew up to the second floor in the starewell.. Who needs stairs or an elevator when you can fly? "Poyo, poyo! (Time to start my mission, for Dream Land!)" Unfortunately for Kirby, it was a bit boring. Since he had his gear on, no one else questioned him, for some reason. It's a fanfic, though, nothing matters. That is until...

RING! RING!

An alarm was sounding. Kirby couldn't understand what it meant, but soon he got a message from his trusty walkie talkie. Taking it out of his helmet, he heard something about a guy who raided some kind of lab? Third floor? Kirby thought it was important, so he quickly puffed up again, and flew to the third floor.

"Poyo? (What's going on?)" A soldier went to talk with Kirby.

"You seem new... but that doesn't matter. Someone threatened a doctor from the lab for medicine."

"Poyo?! (Huh?!)"

"I do not know what that means."

Suddenly, Kirby heard the starewell door make a click. Kirby went to investigate, but another soldier stopped him before he was able to get in.

"Not yet buddy," said the soldier, "we're gonna do this together."

"He's hit!" someone said, and a bunch of soldiers went out near the starewell door. The same soldier that stopped Kirby got everyone to charge in on the count of three, and the soldiers went in, shooting at something. Kirby wanted to get in the action as well, so he quickly went in and tried to shoot. Unfortunately, Kirby's little stubs could barely make a spark held normally. While he finally figured out how to shoot a bullet, he heard the window shatter.

"Could this be the theif?" Kirby thought to himself. He once again puffed up and flew to the window. Luckly for him, the others were distracted by trying to find the theif with their weak non-puffy bodies. Kirby saw the boy roll painfully to the other side of the street as he safely lost some air to get down. The boy then rolled to the shadows, something that reminded Kirby very much of Meta Knight.

"Sto! Thu! (Stop! Theif!)" Kirby screamed! As he was running closer, he noticed some soldiers near the place where the theif fell on, and one of them was Metias.

"Poyo! Poyo! (Mr Metias! I know where the criminal is!)" But he didn't listen yet. He was too busy ordering the other soldiers to search for this theif. Finally, Metias got his attention on Kirby!

"Kirby!" he exclamed, "now's not the time for a reunion, I want you to go out and find that man who broke into the lab!" Suddenly, Kirby saw the boy over a sewer cap, and pointed his gun at him. "Poyo! (There he is!)" Kirby exclaimed.

"Huh, that was fast. Alright men, get him!"

Kirby, Metias, and the soldiers quickly ran over to the boy, who was trying to escape the cap.

"Freeze. Stay where you are!"

"Poyo! (Yeah! Stay!)"

Both of them pointed the gun at the boy. Kirby sneaked a peak at Metias, and his face seemed... strange. It was as if, he've seen this boy. But that doesn't matter, as Kirby just wanted to get back to Dream Land.

"Hands up. You're under arrest for theft, vandalism, and tresspassin..."

Kirby's only thought was what his friends doing back home. Were they trying to find him? No, not possible. The voice said the only way to escape is to unite the Republic and Colonies back together, but how? Was there anyway to end this war, Kirby asked himself. Metias tries to shoot at the boy, but then he threw a knife at him. It hits Metias right on the shoulder, and he collapses. The boy then quickly gets in the manhole, but Kirby was worried about Metias.

"Poyo? Poyo! Poyo! (Mr Metias? Mr Metias, wake up! Please!)"
Kirby was starting to bond with the guy, and unfortunately, it had to come at an end. Kirby had some tears within his eyes, and had a new side quest: Kill the Murderer. As the soldier are starting to contact a Ambulence, Kirby suddely daydreamt something... enchanting. He heard a little voice in his mind.

"Kirby... listen..."

At that point, Kirby was already asleep near the knife incident.

"Poyo? (Huh?)" Kirby said in his head.

"Kirby, it seems like you're having trouble with your quest, with your new friend being gone..."

"Poyo... (Yeah...)"

"But, I sense one of your old friends is now here..."

"Poyo? (Really?)"

"Don't worry about his part in the story, though. Soon, you, him, and some other people will help you get back home..."

"Poyo? (You sure?)" Kirby thought of Metias again. The poor thing was killed, although he wonders what would happen after this.

"I'm sure, Kirby. Now come on, you should tell Lancer with your walkie talkie to get you back to the HQ."

"Poyo. Bye! (Alrighty then, I will. Goodbye, voice of my head!)" And then Kirby woke up and called Lancer what happened. Kirby was still dissapointed with Metias' death, but at least he knows someone else is here to help.

Meanwhile in the sewers...

"Gotta... get... out of... bag..." Bandana Dee had no idea where he was, but maybe someone would help him out of the bag at least. The same boy as before went by, and Bandana knew the help has come.

"Hey, can you get me outta here?"

"Huh? What was that?"

"Over here!"

The boy spotted the bag, and opened it up.

"Who are you? More importantly, WHAT are you?"

"My name is Bandana Dee, and I'm came here after someone kidnapped me. The last thing I remember of that was some voice about joining HIM?"

"Huh, you don't suppose you know this 'him,' huh?"

"Well, I actually don't belong here... although I feel like Kirby is here..."

"Who's Kirby?"

"You haven't seen him have you? Pink skin? Circle body? Killed evil overlords?"

"I feel like I've seen that already, but other than that, no clue. Hey, I'll help you find this Kirby if you help me to over there." he pointed at the other end of the sewers."

"Sure, I got time."

The two traveled and traveled, but the boy eventually got tired.

"I don't think I can go on longer..."

"Come on, buddy! Should I call you buddy?"

"Darn, forgot to introduce myself. My name's Day."

"Wow, that's a great name! Is there a meaning behind it?"

"I don't trust you that much yet."

Suddenly, both of them heard some shouts around the corners.

"Shoot, they've caught up to me."

"Who?"

"Soldiers. I'm wanted in these parts because of my crimes."

"I commit more crimes in my home and I don't get tracked down? What do they look like?"

"Like a soldier would. Helmet, vest, boots..."

"That one doesn't have a helmet or vest. Maybe it's friendly?"

Day looked at the figure, but couldn't understand what it was. Then, his eyelids grew heavy, and went shut.

"Don't worry, Day," promised Bandana, "I'll make sure this person gets help for you."

And so, Bandana will try to keep his promise, and went to talk to the strange person nearby.
