I'm grateful Bandana can just change his appearence and bam, he's different. Everyone here is stupid enough to just look past through the lie, hah! Oh, and the look on Thomas' face when he yells at Day for kissing June back at the alley, HAH! I haven't experience joy for this long, and I'd never expect it would be from love.

Tonight, I decided to sleep with Magalor instead of William. A really pathetic closet, but at least where we sleep is fine, I guess.

"So Kirby," Magalor said on his only pillow., "You wouldn't of seen Lor Starcutter in the sky earlier today, right?"

"Actually," I reply, sitting on a blanket, and covered with another one, "I did. No idea as to why it's like that, though. Why'd you ask?"

"Someone hijacked it."

"Really?"

"Yeah. It has tough security, but someone just went in there walking, and the ship stayed the same."

We lay in our "beds" for a while until Magalor speaks up again. "Hey Kirby? You know the guy who was murdered? Captain Metais Iparis?"

"Yeah, I still miss that guy, but I'm starting to move on..." I have some sadness in my eyes.

"Well, I was messing with the Republic's files again, and it turns out, there's proof that Day didn't murder him."

I jump out excited. "Is this true? Please tell me it's true! I want to protect Day from anyone who wants to hurt him and-"

"Woah, slow down there, cowboy! Lor!" Magalor opens his dashboard. "Open current files of the crime report."

"𝕆𝕡𝕖𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕔𝕣𝕚𝕞𝕖 𝕣𝕖𝕡𝕠𝕣𝕥. 𝔾𝕖𝕖𝕫, 𝕒𝕣𝕖𝕟'𝕥 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕥𝕨𝕠 𝕘𝕠𝕟𝕟𝕒 𝕤𝕝𝕖𝕖𝕡 𝕪𝕖𝕥?"

"Nope!" We both giggle. Dedede busts into the room.

"Hey guys! What's going on?"

"I had something big I wanted to share with Kirby. Come and watch!" Magalor points to a third blanket pile, with a reasonable pillow. Dedede walks over and sits down, and Lor opens the files, to reveal the pictures of Metias' body.

"You see the knife wound on his shoulder?" Magalor asks us both. We both shake our heads. It's impossible to see a knife wound from this angle. "Well, what about this one?" We shake our heads again. It's picture after picture, we can barely see a knife wound. We're already at the last one when Magalor turns to talk with us.

"So, do you guys see a pattern?"

"Useless pictures." Dedede replies.

"No Knife Wounds?" I ask.

"No, no, no!" Magalor says, "They're all taken at an angle. Now, look at the chest, what do you see?"

I try to get a close look. "Rifle grease. It's rifle grease!"

"Exactly," Magalor replies as he shuts down the dashboard. We have proof now that Day didn't murder your friend, but someone who would've had a relationship with Metias, and isn't pretty much in his family."

"Wait, so that would be Thomas?"

"Huh? You mean that guy from earlier who made me go to the interrigation room?"

"That's the one."

Welp, now we have our proof. Day didn't kill Metias, Thomas did. What kind of monster would pin it on a boy who's done nothing wrong? Yin Yarn would. Wait, I'm going offtrack...

The next morning comes. Bandana, or should I say, 'Jerry' *wink!* and I went to Day's cell with June.

"So, you made a guy angry and now Bandana has to go by Jerry now," I start.

"I kinda like the new name change, though!" Bandana replies

"Alright, everyone else out. We want a private word with the prisoner,"  says as she then looks towards the security cameras in the corners. "And cut those too."

"Yes, ma'am," the Mace Knight soldier replies. We were already told to take out our weapons, then fake it out once the soldiers left, and that's exactly what we did. Man, I thought owning a gun would be more fun... After that, June squirts some water from her canteen into Day's mouth.

"Your face looks awful," she says after that, "Who did this to you?"

"Nice of you to ask. You can thank your captain friend for this."

"Thomas?"

"Yeah," Bandana interrupts, "He was really jealous of Day kissing you, so now he had to look at pictures of Patriots, and meanwhile I was sentenced behind bars just for laughing."

"He never mentioned this to me. Last night he- well, I'll take it up with Commander Jameson."

The files from before of my adventures flash through my eyes. Seriously, what is up with Jameson?

"Thanks. I was wondering you'd come." Day starts to hesitate, then continues. "Do you know anything about Tess yet? If she's alive?"

No one except Bandana had the answer. "Well, for all I can pretty much tell you, she's fine and dandy." Bandana turns to me. "Actually, I met Tedhaun, also. Probably was originally with Dedede and Meta Knight."

I reply. "Don't mention that name again or I'll tear the skin off Daroach and make you swallow it..."

"I can and will."

"Focus, you guys," Day interrupts us, "What about my brothers? How are they?"

"I have no access to Eden," June replies, "although I'm sure he still alive. John is as well as can be expected. I'm sorry you had to deal with Thomas yesterday."

"Wait a minute..." Bandana interrupts, "You seem nicer today... Want to tell us why?" I could sense a smirk in that non-existant mouth.

She doesn't answer, and Bandana starts to slowly go into a worried look. "I studied my brother's crime scene again, this time with, uh, Kirby's floating friend."

Magalor. He hadn't mention this fact to me last night. Oh well. Better late than never.

"And?" Day asks.

"Day, can you say, honestly and truly... that you didn't kill Metias?"

This is the moment I hope he says no to. Magalor is a pretty smart guy when it comes to information, and he's always right with his information. I've gotten the information, Bandana knows this, too. If he truely DID kill Metias, then summon a Kracko and electricute me. My (possibly) heart beats a bit faster. waiting for the answer.

Finally, Day answers. "I did not kill your brother. I don't know who did. I'm sorry for injuring him and all - but I had to save my own life. I wish I'd had more time to think it through."

I wanted to tell them the truth, but the kinder voice came up again. Only whispering one single word.

Don't.

Don't. Not yet.

"I really miss him," June replies to the answer. "I thought he would be around for a long time, you know, someone I could always lean on. He was all I had left. And now he's gone, and I wish I knew why."

I join in. "We just don't get why someone would want to kill him..."

I try to say something else, but June was already crying. Coincidentaly, I'm also crying, as well. We really miss this guy, huh? If only he was still alive... The other guys are trying to wipe our own tears away, but Day then just focuses on holding June's hand, who offered it up.

"You and I may have the same enemy," Day says, "And they've pitted us against each other."

"I'm not so sure yet," she replies. "It's dangerous for us to talk like this. Here, I want to give this back to you." She hands him some kind of pendant. Must be his.

"You had it. You found it at the hosptial that night, didn't you? That's how you recongnized me when you finally found me - I must've reached for it." All  does is just slightly nod.

I feel bad for all of us.
