Bandana Dee's POV (Republic - Streets)

"Wait, Kirby?!" Bandana Dee thought.

Now, Bandana knew Kirby was a tough fighter, more powerful with abilities like Wrestler, but if he doesn't do anything, Kaede is gonna thrown him off to the end of the universe. Not only that, but he sense Sectonia's soul taking control of Kaede's moves. The problem? He couldn't convince anyone, since only people from Pop Star could see corrupted souls and all that.

"One thousand notes so far," Tess asked Bandana, "You think Kaede would get us higher?"

"I dunno..." Bandana replied, "I'm sensing the, uh... guy in that mask would win."

"Heh, good job at humor, Dee!" She looks at Day, who was hiding behind the chimney of a one-story warehouse, then gives the notes to the similar-looking waddle dee who want organizing bets. The waddle dee paused looking at Bandana confusingly, then just shrugged and went back into collecting bets.

"How didn't he notice me?" Bandana thought once again. "Actually, how didn't Tess notice how he looked like?"

The fight still commenced. Kirby started up a Flying Dropkick, but he basically missed, which game Kaede the chance to grab him and easily throw to the ground. Luckly, the pink puffball was able to puff up before touching the hard floor and fly up in order to do a Wrestler Pinpoint Kick.

"A few hits from the start and a ability to fly... why am I neglecting Kirby here?" 

Sectonia's soul, who was beside Kaede, started up a Ring Shot and pushed it towards Kirby. He was able to Lift the ring and throw it to the ground.

"Darn it, that's why!"

If Kirby used Sectonia's attacks on Kaede, everyone would know the jig was up. Bandana couldn't afford to die, and didn't want Kirby to die either. Luckly, Kirby knew that too, but Bandana still asked himself HOW he knew that.

Kaede charged forward at Kirby when Sectonia did a Slashing Attack. Kirby used a Meteor Plancha and was able to attack the soul.

"That's it!" Bandana screamed inside his thoughts, "If we simply hit Sectonia's Soul, nothing bad would happen!"

Before he could even start a Tackle Grab, Kaede grabs Kirby by his non-existant chest and...

Bandana was shocked. He was able to see a small knife cut on Kirby. "But how?" he thought. "I thought we weren't able to bleed and stuff like that?! Don't worry, Bandee! He'll be able to survive this!"

Ignoring the pain, Kirby quickly took up a chance to Chop Barrage, which possibly did as much damage to Kaede as she did to Kirby. She gets back on her feet, and tries to kick Kirby, while Sectonia's Soul kept summoning White Antler Souls to give extra damage without anyone else besides Bandana and Kirby able to see. While Kirby was able to dodge all the kicks, about two White Antlers were able to hit Kirby about two or three times. Still, Kirby was able to stand up still, and ordered himself to do a Headbutt on the soul. Sectonia screamed, something, once again, only Bandana and Kirby were able to hear. Few more hits, and shes down.

Kirby then started a Launcher Lariat which successfully hit Kaede. Kirby then jumped up and Rolling Sobat-ed the soul.

The hidden fight was over.

Sectonia started to disappear quickly, puffing up into smoke, before it forms into Sectonia's old self for a second and then went off to who knows. Kirby peacefully celebrated, but not before Kaede sneaked up behind him and slammed him to the floor.

"Knockout..." Bandana worringly says.

Bandana Dee looks at Kirby, damaged but still functional, slugging himself to a corner of the place, while Tess collected the bet winnings. He wanted to go down and help him up better, but he stayed back, knowing that he's Kirby. He's a tough guy, and he always has something up his sleeve! Sure enough, Kirby spat our a Energy Drink inside a bubble, popped it, and then inhaled it. Despite that, some blood was still flowing out of Kirby. 

"Who's next?"

The crowd replied shouting. "Choose! Choose!"

At that rate, Bandana notices Tess missing. She was actually trying to get a better view, but bumped into a gambler and the guy pushed her to the middle. The crown bursts in laughter, but Bandana can't see, or hear, what was going on at that point. All he could see was Kirby resting near the corner, trying to calm himself down from the bruse. He saw Kirby's normal joy face, but in those eyes he can sense fear.

Then a voice rings.

"Doesn't seem like a fair fight for her and my buddy, wasn't it?"

The crowd silences. Bandana at that point, went to another spot in order to Waddle Copter and see what was going on.

Kirby seems to be looking at a girl, the one who shouted out. Something about her seems kinda off for Bandana... Did Kirby find her or something? 

The fight between the girl and Kaede WAS similar when Kirby was up, but basically was more in favor of the girl's side. Bandana noticed a pattern between the two fights.

Someone dodges, that someone attacks, but the opponent attacks back, followed by a landed hit or two. Then, a comeback for the opponent, and a knife stab.

"Huh," Bandana thought, "Now I'm kinda scared over what this girl intends to do with Kirby. Or is she trying to copy him?"

Continuing from the list, the fighter try to heal a bit within a few microseconds, then THEY make a comeback. 

But here's when the two split.

While Kirby tried sparing the opponent for a bit, the girl quickly thought fast and grabs Kaede's arm. She shatters it, within one move, and keeps it that way until her opponent gives up, while Kirby aimed straight at the soul.

"Was there any connection between these two guys?"

The crowd shouts again.

"Choose! Choose! Choose!" 

The girl looks at Kirby, and Kirby (who already bubbled up the mask, but still barely visible,) just shook his head. She starts to walk away with Kirby, but the crown starts booing. Something Bandana Dee hasn't heard for a long time. This converted a memory into him.

Young and fine, Bandana was just another one of your average waddle dees. He was the king's favorite, but despite that, he barely is loved by anyone else. Now, this might sound like your average sob story, but hear me out. The only people who DID like waddle dee were pretty much the toughest enemies of each enemy type. Bronto Burts, Driblees, pretty much the toughest of the entire species of each type loved Bandana, even though he wasn't that strong.

One morning, Dedede hosted a contest to test everyone's strength. Megaton Punch. The winner would get their name put for the donation to DDDefenitelyNotDedede (which was obviously just nothing) and a cake, big enough for an entire family to last for 3 weeks. Convinced by his friends, he joined the contest, not expecting to win. The big day came, but Bandana's puny body barely did a crack. Booing occured, but the anger from that booing forced him to ALMOST break the entire planet into two. The crowd was shocked from Bandana Dee's punch, then started to cheer. After that and a cake feast with his friends, Bandana practiced himself to fight more, mainly, with the spear. Being approached by a even younger waddle dee and HIS friends, they told him that he would be the leader of the waddle dees, and they gave him a blue bandana.

The one he would always wear, and LOTS of them, to be honest.

Bandana Dee touched the bandana he currently had, the top ripped off. He blushed as he remembered the face the young dee made as he accepted it. And just until now did he realize Tess and Day were missing, as well as Kirby and the mystery girl. Infact, mostly EVERYONE was gone, so he went on to find out himself. An angry mob was right outside following the girl, needing more fighting.

"Get back here! You can't just leave like that!" One of them said.

"Well," replied Bandana silently, "If you wanna see another fight, then how about one right now?" He took out his spear and began pushing the rioters left and right before a dust bomb sets off, and Bandana was launched all the way in front of Kirby, laying there tired with the girl. Day is trying to help them up.

"K- Kirby?"

"Bandee?! (Bandana?!)"

Bandana helps Kirby up while Day helps the girl up.

"Come on, you three." All five of them quickly went out of the dust cloud as Bandana can still hear shouting of anger.
