Bandana Dee

I was able to return the information about where Day was being kept at midnight. Turns out, basically Meta Knight is in the plan as well, and he was the one who hijacked the Lor Starcutter back at the mob.

"You WHAT?" Tedhaun shouts.

"Quiet, you idiot!" Meta Knight answers. "Listen, we got to get that criminal out, and now thanks to Bandana, we know how to break him out. Although, our current army isn't gonna be strong enough to take all those soldiers down."

"Exactly how?" Tess asks, "This is basically his final days of living before he gets executed!"

"I've never failed a break-out mission, trust me. Now, I've heard the Dimension Mirror is somewhere around here. If we could locate it, we could get extra help from the Mirror World. Any ideas?"

"Nope," we all reply.

Meta Knight sighs. "This'll take long... Look, we still have time left, I have a part to add to your plan."

"What is it?" I ask. 

"Kay is pretty much as strong as an army of Phan Phans. If we can secretly get her to the team, it'll take easier."

"But how, exactly? We can't tell Kaede anything!" Tess points out.

"I've heard she'll be in that bar Bandana and Day went. The exact one where Kawasaki was found. We'll simply tell Kawasaki to trick her. We'll have to go now, though. Kay is already there."

We all nod. If we're gonna go home, we're bringing our friend to safety, as well.

The four of us walk around the streets. For some reason, everything seems normal, but in Pop Star's terms, weird. Huh. Just some homeless people chatting about Bronto Burts, Chips snuggling with stray cats, this isn't what they'd usually do! Tedhaun was in charge of trying to find Kaede, but also came with news about someone else searching for her.

"Some brown-haired girl is trying to search for Kaede as well," Tedhaun exclaims. 

"That must be Ms. Iparis!" I reply.

"Well then, we'll just have to be careful around her," Meta Knight says.

An entire hour passes. No Kaede. We're about to give up until we hear a frying pan from the shadows near the bar I went to before. Kawasaki? If he's there, surely Kaede must be there, too! We sneak to the dark alley, and phew, did we need a Cool Spook here!

Seems like Kaede found Ms. Iparis. "...looking for me. You want t'see me so badly that you've been wandering through Alta's bars for over an hour."

"You should be ashamed, girl..." Kawasaki adds. He notices us behind him and alarms Kaede.

"What are you guys doing? Whatever, stay back. You'd wouldn't wanna see this."

"Tess? Bandana?"

Welp, we're caught. I signal Tess to walk forward enough for Ms. Iparis to see us clearly.

"Hello," Tess says. "How is Day? Is he okay?"

"For the moment. I'm glad to see you're okay too. What are you doing here?"

Meta Knight steps in. "We've been meaning to find Kay."

"Meta Knight," Kawasaki says, "We're kinda busy at the moment." He gives a angry face at him.

"Kawasaki, I basically own you, stop fighting for now, please."

Ms. Iparis interrupts them. "Can you guys shut it? Look- I'm here to negotiate to you. Kaede, I need your help. I need to talk to the Patriots."

"What makes you think I'm a Patriot?" Kaede answers. Big lie, right there.

"Well," Meta Knight says, "she DOES work for the Republic. Therefore, she would be able to know lots of things."

"Whatever, Mets. Listen, You don't need my help. You're lying. You're a Republic soldier, and you turned Day in. Why should we trust you?"

Ms. Iparis takes out some kind of backpack. Notes. The one's Kawasaki had. 
"I wanted to give you this," she says as she hands them to Kaede. "And there's more where that came from. But I need you to listen to me, and I don't have much time."

After we all make sure Ms. Iparis isn't being tracked by and threw all her weapons away, we discuss her problem. We're not allowed to tell any other Patriots about this problem unless it's worth it. It turns out, she has the same problem as us. She started talking about Metias' death, how she and Kirby tracked me and Day down, and even about that guy, who I already forgot his name...

"So," Tedhaun says, "Your brother's friend murdered him just because of something about the government killing your parents, and this Day guy has been framed? Yeah, no. How the Marx does this have to do with the Patriots?"

Something surprises me out of Ms. Iparis' words. "I want to help Day escape before his execution. And I've heard that the Patriots wanted to recruit him for a long time."

"You know," I tell Meta Knight, "We wouldn't want to see him dead, either. right?"

"Yeah, that's true..." Meta Knight hesitates, like he never heard of the plan. "Alright, then, do you have any arrangements or somethin'?"
