Kirby

I should be already escaping with my friends right now. Instead, I'm walking towards Commander Jameson's office. Hopefully I didn't piss her off, somehow. Opening the door, everything is entirely different: the entire room is mostly made of dark matter and flipped over. Standing right in front of me with a grin is Commander Jameson.

But her voice isn't normal at all. It's really familiar.

"Kirby. Step up to me."

I grab out my gun, scared.

"NOW."

The room is shrinking, and the door is already locked. I notice I'm shifting towards her, without command. Cold, purplish floating hands grab me and hold me tight.

"I've got to admit," Jameson says, "You've really did a good job learning about what's right and wrong. But do you think I'm impressed?"

"Right and wrong?" How does she know this stuff from the deep voice? I stay silent.

"I'm not at all impressed. I know, I made a promise with your worthless basketball thing, but time's have changed. I don't need to take over anymore: I can just control now. And once I corrupt that Elector further than his current horrible deeds, I'm going to be the best ruler ever."

There's no time to lose. I shoot a bullet. It goes through her, but it heals back. A yellow, shiny horn suddenly pops out of her left of her head.

"Go on, try again. You won't miss, but you WILL regret."

I do as I'm told. I keep shooting with worry, and even though due to my kirby powers, the bullets aren't enough to take her down. One by one, a familiar piece pops out, and I quickly regret my choice, as she said.

Nightmare.

It turns out this isn't a real person being possesed. The fake body of Jameson starts to fade away.
Who knows where the real one is?

There's no time to hesitate. Nightmare is already launching a round of empty, blue stars at me. I throw the gun at him, which takes little to no damage. My next plan? Swallow my Mirror Ability. I quickly Reflect Guard. The now-purple-filled stars launch back at Nightmare, who refuses the damage.

"I told you! I told you that you had to break up the war! I know your little plan about freeing that criminal. Once he's gone, I'll finally fix this whole place up!" Nightmare attacks back with a series of sonic waves and energy orbs. They're hard to dodge, but I manage to survive by Mirror Body-ing.

"Why are you even doing this? I just want to get back home!" I charge ahead and Mirror Cut him. No luck. He hasn't taken any form of damage yet. Nightmare throws me over to a wall and I slide down, losing my ability.

"That's because I've seen the future of this universe. No one can be more foul than me..."

"Dark Matter? Drawcia? Literally Yin-Yarn?"

Nightmare sends out a laser towards me, which I quickly dodge. I remember the Wrestler Ability I bubbled up from that Skiz fight, but then the soft voice appears in my head.

"Kirby! Suck up one of the hands! Swallow it!"

I do as I'm told. I run towards Nightmare, who must've figured out what happened quickly. He throws his hands around like I'm a bull charging at a red cape. Not giving up, I use the walls as a platform and throw myself at the hands. I keep inhaling and inhaling, and Nightmare starts to get dizzier. Now's my chance! I quickly gobble the hand.

DING!

...Sword? Why am I using sword? This won't help! The voice calls in again as Nightmare tries to get back together.

"Pretend you're hugging someone, then clap three times!"

After a air-hug and some claps, I realize my ability has switched. It's Bomb. I keep hugging and clapping until I get Star-Rod (which really wasn't, but it worked as the real thing), just in time before Nightmare sees straight again.

"Enough! I'm controlling this nation! I'm going to be the one who ruins those puny lives, if it has to be human OR puffball!" Two portals pop out of Nightmare as he floats back a bit. Out came Master Hand and Crazy Hand, while the portals still stayed up. "Boys, sick him."

Both hands start off with Finger Guns and Dual Punch at me. I rid of the smaller projectiles with my Star Rod, then jump up and attack Crazy Hand. I notice that he had a small button on his back, and so I press it. It explodes, and some dark matter comes out. Then he disappears. I know what to do. While I work with Master Hand, Nightmare is already summoning Parallel Susie, who shoots a homing Drill Bit at me. Nightmare is shooting an energy orb at me, as well. I quickly press Master Hand's button while I run around Parallel Susie, reflecting her Drill Bits back at her. She dodges them, then tries to Driver Slam me. I'm able to get away, and shoot starts right at her suit. While it takes damage, Nightmare summons Shadow Dedede, or at least, a copy. Despite the strong attack, Parallel Susie's robotic suit stays on, and then I have an idea. Shadow Dedede charges, then trips and slips like he's on ice. While slipping, he sends dark spheres while still slashing. I keep running, luring his spheres right to the button on the back of Parallel Susie's head. She disappears. Shadow Dedede gets back up once he realizes his mistake, and uses his stomach teeth Dark Matter-esque. His stomach shoots out mini-Quadguns. Huh, that's new. I jump left to right as I destroy each of them, but there's too many. Then I notice one of the Quadguns aren't really, well, a Quadgun. It's a Buzzybat. I launch a star at it, and the Buzzybat falls over, knocking all the Quadguns down like a game of dominos. They all fade away. Shadow Dedede is still there, though, and I charge forward to slash him and press his button. Nightmare had already summoned a final monster - a even worse copy of Dark Mind - and is charging towards me to stop anything else from leaking. His weak spot was open, so instead, I swing a star at it. He screams.

I wonder if anyone else heard that?
