Luna's POV

I was expecting a house. Instead I got a building, a school but one that hadn't been used in a while. As I ran through the doors, it was surprising to see all of the usual school stuff still in place. Trophies, sign in sheets, even a few pieces of paper on the floor. The lights were on, and I felt my chest tighten. It was an automatic reaction when in school, feeling like you must hide everything.

A harsh clang rang out from somewhere in the hallway to my left, so I broke into a sprint, then froze when I heard a scratching, like paws, running away from me, down another corridor. I started creeping toward the sound when a man rounded the corner.
He was tall, about seven inches more than me, with dark, dark brown hair and mismatched eyes, one piercing blue and one a warm brown.

I sucked in a breath. I knew him. It was Caspar. He and I trained together while in London with the Commander. We weren't close but I did care for him, and as usual my heart clenched. I was happy he was okay after I had left for Seattle. The look on his face was priceless, a giant smile revealing dimples and lighting up his eyes.

"Luna," he breathed, and I walked slowly toward him.

"C-Cas?" My voice shook, but I regained my arrogant attitude and crossed my arms. "What are you doing here?" He stopped smiling immediately.

"Well... I... I needed to speak with you." He wasn't looking at me and then it clicked.

"You sent the message? Are Everest and Marina even here? How did you get their phones?" My eyes widened. "Caspar William Silverwood. Did you kidnap my friends?" He suddenly reached forward and hugged me, and I momentarily lost my train of thought.

After a minute of just holding each other, I backed up. "Caspar. Where are they?" He sighed then turned and started walking.

"Follow me. They're just in here..." He opened the door next to him and frowned. I was next to him before he could blink and peered inside. The only thing was Marina, her eyes wide and her wrists bound.

"CASPAR! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?" I ran over and untied her hands, and she took a shaky breath.

"Thank you Luna...." She frowned. "I'm still pissed at you. You got me drunk." I started giggling, then shut up.

"Well.... I said it was going to be a party!" We both burst into a fit of giggling until Caspar cleared his throat.

"Yes well.... Shouldn't we go and find werewolf girl?" He asked. I looked at him strangely, then realized.

"I KNEW IT! I WAS TOTALLY RIGHT WHEN I SAID SHE WAS A WEREWOLF!!! YES!" Caspar rolled his eyes.

"Come on, luv. Let's go find her." He reached out his hand. I looked at it for a second then back at his face.

"You kidnapped them in the first place. Don't you ever, ever touch them again. I don't care if you were trying to reach me. You do not mess with them. Or else you mess with me. Understand?" I walked out the door, knocking his hand aside.

"Come on Marina. Let's find Everest. And somehow make her change back into a human. Somehow."
