Luna's POV

After healing Everest, we all packed into the van and drove along the freeway, me taking the wheel and trying not to get arrested again.

"I have to pee!" Caspar exclaimed. All of us rolled our eyes.

"You said that five minutes ago." I replied. He flashed me a smile.

"I know. That's cause I do. Come on just a quick rest stop?"

"Fine. But you only get five minutes."

"How about ten?"

"Seven."

"Fiiiiiine."

I took an exit and stopped at a gas station, Caspar unbuckled his seatbelt, and bolted inside.

"Anyone else?" I asked. Everyone nodded and got out, with Everest leaning on Marina. I stepped out too, then ran inside.

"Alright guys get whatever you need. I'll pay." I said, and we all separated.

I saw Caspar dart into the bathroom, Marina helping Everest to the snack isle, and Lacy just standing awkwardly.

"Okay listen. You may have everyone fooled that the whole stabbing with poison was an accident, but trust me, I am not wrapped around your little finger. I know it wasn't a mistake, even if you feel bad about it. And if I catch you doing one little suspicious thing I will slit your throat. Understand?" I told her. She glared at me but nodded, then turned to go to the bathroom.

I walked around, grabbing necessary items for the trip, then went up to the counter, where Everest and Marina stood. There was a huge pile of food, clothes, energy drinks, and basically everything the store contained. I grabbed a sub from next to the counter and gave the cashier my card, which was actually real and fully functioning.

"Throw in a pack of cigarettes please." I told her, and she glanced at me, then grabbed a pack and added it to the pile.

We walked out of the store and found Caspar and Lacy waiting for us.

"How the fuck did you get away with not showing ID?" Marina asked, half dragging Everest. Caspar picked her up bridal style and put her in the back of the car, where she promptly fell asleep.

"Oh she must've thought I looked old enough. I don't know." I replied, taking them out and slipping them into my pocket.

"Wait. You smoke?" Caspar, Marina, and Lacy asked in perfect unison.

I laughed, then replied, "Of course not. I just wanted to see if I could get them. And occasionally they come in handy."

We all jumped into the car, with Caspar as our driver, giving me a little of a break to relax. I closed my eyes, and went to sleep.

----------------------------------------------

My dreams were filled with chaos. I saw Lacy in a dark room with a body hanging from the ceiling by its wrists, blood dripping from its arms and legs. Lacy raised a whip and slashed, causing the person to let out a whimper.

The scene changed to me on a red throne, a crown on my head. I had begun to laugh a wicked laugh, and I saw fangs instead of normal teeth.

I awoke in a gasp, and Caspar looked at me with a worried expression. I shook my head and he pursed his lips but went back to driving.

It was strange. I didn't think I could have dreams like that. Mine were normal, but it felt as if it were a vision, not a dream.

But I shouldn't be able to have visions. Unless... Maybe I didn't have one. Maybe I was dream walking, and someone else was having the vision.

I glanced behind me and found Marina staring at me, wide eyes and terrified. Seemed like she was the one with the vision.

Well crap.
