The One With The End (For Now)

Luna's POV

The pain was almost unbearable. Each moment, a feeling like fire erupted from some part of my body. I couldn't see, only hear my own screams and feel the torture.

I did not know my name. I did not know where I was, how I got there, or anything about myself. I only knew pain.

This went on for what seemed like eternity. It could have been only a few hours, days, weeks, but I could not tell.

I eventually felt my mind breaking and shattering. The process was slow, but I could feel each and every crack of my sanity.

It was constant. Fire everywhere, thousands of glass shards piercing my body, knives puncturing me from the inside.

There was a high pitched laughing, then absolute silence.

Crack.

My eyes opened slowly, as if for the first time. I was in a cot, in a completely white room, curtains drawn to let in waves of warm, soft sunlight.

A girl, who looked about 17, was sitting in a chair beside my bed, smiling at me softly.

"Hello dear. My name is Lacy Silverwood. I'm assuming you have many questions for me," she said.

I paused for a moment before replying, "Y-yes... why am I here?"

Her eyes twinkled. "Well, you see, I found you in a basement somewhere, bloody and broken, completely insane. I brought you here to heal you and your mind." As she said this, she passed a hand over my face and I felt something like bliss, or maybe it was me losing control.....

"Where is here?" I asked, looking around and attempting to sit up.

"Why, the castle of course. The castle of Brahevia."

"Brahevia?"

"Yes. It is the kingdom."

"Oh.... okay..." I said, nervously twirling my hair between my fingers.

"Just to be clear... you don't remember anything?" She asked.

I looked at her momentarily, trying to remember. "N-no. Nothing."

She nodded and took my hand. "I may be able to help. Memories are my specialty. Close your eyes."

I did as I was told and heard her whispering.

Suddenly, I felt my mind full with memories. All of the people I knew, my friends, my family, my heritage. My enemies. Those evil people trying to ruin me, manipulate me for their gain. Everest, Marina, and Caspar. If I found them I would kill them.

I saw Lacy, who had stuck by me and helped me. There was a boy, Calum, who I cared little for. And there was my memory of being kidnapped by those people.... whoever they were. I saw no faces.

All of these memories seemed real and yet... oh never mind.

"Lacy..... oh my gods. We are in Brahevia."

She winked. "Correct. Your homeland. Your country. Your world. Your kingdom." She leaned towards me and whispered into my ear. "Your castle."

My eyes widened. How could she know? I had never told anyone, not even when I had been with Caspar a few years ago.

"Yes yes. Welcome home, Queen Luna Ravenrose."
