Everest's POV

I ran through the hall. The lights were blinking, then they went out. I heard a creaking from about thirty feet away, and the lights flashed back on. Then I saw them. The Weeping Angels. I couldn't turn away (because if I did, they would take me back in time). The lights went out again. Silence and complete darkness for 5 seconds. The scene changed. I woke up in a cavern. I looked to the ceiling for a second. I screamed and looked back down. All across my arms were tally marks. The Silence.

I jolted awake. Thank God it was just a dream. I was definitely not a psychic, just an obsessive fangirl.

I was on the plane traveling to Czechoslovakia. Calum was three rows ahead, sitting next to Caspar. And he was staring at me. I gave him a look of death. He kept staring. Fuck you, I mouthed. He smiled. I made a mental note to kick his ass when I was unpoisoned.

I just turned away. Lacy was sitting next to me. She smiled shyly, but I just kept a blank face. She was the one who even put us in this position in the first place.

Across from us sat Luna and Marina, both chatting happily. My head and side hurt like hell, and I felt horrible for biting Luna. She didn't seem too phased, except for the pain. Every once and a while, she would clutch the seat, and her face would be red from the strain. I apologized multiple times, but she just said that it was an accident, and it was fine. But I knew it wasn't fine because she was a fucking vampire. I had killed her, technically.

"Do you like Luna?" Lacy asked, I guess because I was staring at her. A bit quick to jump to conclusions.

"No. I just feel terrible. I mean, I bit her. And turned her into a fucking vampire."

"Don't feel bad- you were going crazy, and you didn't even know it was her." Lacy really sucked at trying to make me feel better. Instead, she just made me angry.

"And I was only going crazy because of you. You had to make the fucking stupid mistake of grabbing the poisonous knife. You're supposed to be a fucking ninja, and you make dumb mistakes like that. Do you even feel guilty at all for what you did?" I mean, it was obvious that she did. Every time she glanced at me, she looked scared, like she wasn't sure if I forgave her.

Lacy put her head down. "It was an accident," she mumbled. Whatever.

I looked forward and just happened to catch a glimpse of Calum leaning forward. Caspar was whispering to him. Calum nodded, and when he turned around, I saw he was pale. He looked like he was going to throw up.

I smirked at him. I don't know if that was a little too mean. I guess I didn't know him really. But he was a fucking asshole to Marina.

Calum turned away this time. I checked to see how much more time on the flight: 3 hours. I didn't want to sleep; I had gotten plenty of it in the past day. I was about to choose a movie when Lacy spoke up. "Aren't your parents worried?"

"Oh, I don't know. My mom has texted me like, 3 times. She doesn't really care about what I do. Which is weird, since I'm a werewolf. You'd think she be more worried about me Changing and, ya know, accidentally killing someone."

"Oh. And your dad?"

"He left when I was 4. I don't know why really, but he left."

"Oh. Cool. Are you in pain?" (She sounded guilty)

"Um, well yeah. I have this really bad pain in my side from where I got stabbed, and a lot of fucking pain everywhere else from poison. But other than that, I feel just fine."

"I really am sorry. I swear, I didn't know it was poisoned."

"But then it was fine that you even decided to stab me in the first place. Poison or not."
