The One With The Classroom

Luna's POV

"Luna.... Listen I'm sorry! I just wanted to make sure you were safe!" Caspar said. We had been looking for Everest when he had grabbed my wrist and pulled me into a large classroom that had no desks or chairs.

"Cas... This isn't really the time. We have to fine EFW." I replied, using the nickname Marina had given to Everest. He looks at me, then rolled his eyes.

"My sister probably found her already. Or Marina. I'm sure EFW is fine." I raised an eyebrow at the mention of his sister.

"Lacy? What is she doing here?" I asked, anger abandoning me only to be replaced by curiosity, then worry. I despised Lacy. She was bitchy and rude, but in a bad way not a super-attractive-sexy-way.

"She insisted on coming with me. I didn't want her to but.... you know siblings." I bit my lip, memories of Toby flashing through my brain, and Caspar got a surprised look. "Oh my Rowling, I am so sorry Luna... I didn't mean.."

Tears had started to form in my eyes, but I quickly wiped them away and put back on my cocky aura.

"Don't worry about it. Anyways, what were we discussing?" He clearly knew I was bothered but didn't decide to go into it.

"Me being sorry. I shouldn't have kidnapped them but they wouldn't tell me anything about you so....."

"So you just kidnapped them? Caspar, I can't believe you. I'm flattered you care so much but honestly that was awful. I don't know how to forgive you for hurting them."

He lowered his gaze, and shuffled his feet nervously, as if expecting me to start fighting him. He looked like a sad puppy, and that caused my eyes to soften. "Hey...... Look... thank you." A smile appeared on his face.

"Luna..... look there's something I've been meaning to tell you. It's one of the main reasons I came here..... I was thinking tha-" He was interrupted by a loud noise that sounded suspiciously like "BANANAS!"

We both started laughing quietly, as if not wanting then to find us. Collapsing on the floor was all we could do, so we did and rolled around, giggling hysterically. It wasn't normal for us, but usually after a fight we couldn't take the tension so we just laughed it off.

"What... what were you saying?" I said, breathing heavily from the intense laughing.

"Oh... just.... it was nothing.... I forgot." He replied. I put my hands on my hips, clearly not believing him. I stood up.

"Spill Mister. Or else." He stood up and leaned against the wall, mimicking my position. His cheeks were red for some random reason, probably from the laughter but I wasn't sure.

"Oh I was just.... thinking we need to hang out more often. Now that I'm here of course we must play pranks." My face burst into a grin, but then went away almost in an instant.

"Cas. The Commander is staying at my house. It is sooooo awkward." His mouth fell open.

"No way! She's here? But she never comes on missions.... unless it's really important. By the way how is that going?" I shrugged.

"Eh. The guy I'm supposed to kill is a total idiot. It shouldn't be toooooo hard." He nodded.

"I don't like the thought of you having to kill someone our age.... or younger." He said.

"Cas you are a year older than me. And so is he. I can handle it, even though I may not like it." I said, confused by his concern. We had killed so many different people and he had never objected to any of it.

"Luna... maybe I should help you. you could use it." My eyes narrowed. He knew I didn't need help. I never needed help.

"Caspar, what the hell is going on? You're suddenly so concerned for me and it's a little weird since you never did this before I left and I-" I was cut short when Caspar leaned forward and kissed me on the cheek.

My face got hot and I knew I had to be blushing. His eyes were dancing with excitement an get for what he had just done. "Caspar, what was-" He cut me off again, but this time he pressed his lips to mine.

My eyes widened but slowly closed as I kissed back. I was pressed against the wall with Caspar in front of me, his hands on either side of me.

Caspar.... oh my Rowling, Caspar was kissing me.
