The One With Intense Dancing

Luna's POV

I didn't really know why I decided to have a party. Especially since there were only three of us. But hey, a party is a party.

"Who wants cookie dough?" I asked, holding up the bowl I had just taken out of the freezer. Both Everest and Marina held up a hand and snatched the bowl from me, gobbling it up. I giggled inwardly, since I had mixed alcohol, and lots of it, into the bowl. I felt I was obligated to, since parties had to have at least someone drunk. Well, two someones.

It was quite entertaining watching the two girls slowly transform into crazy weirdos, but I had to admit it I did feel a bit guilty. It wasn't like they knew what was happening, or could stop it. But, it was hilarious, so I didn't tell them. It was like giving a puppy a toy and them hitting themselves in the face with it.

After they had finished every last bite of the cookie dough, leaving none for me I might add, they began doing intense dance moves, flailing their arms around and singing really off key. Everest looked up, giggling, and said,

"Heeeeeeeeeey weeeee should have a dance offffffffff!" Her words were slurred a little and i nodded enthusiastically, going to get more alcohol and cookie dough, just to entertain myself. Toby and I always used to play tricks on people like this, while we sat back and watched. At the thought of Toby, my eyes teared up a little, but I quickly wiped them away and brought back the bowl.

Without any hesitation, Everest and Marina inhaled the cookie dough and started to see who could produce the loudest fart noise from their mouth.

"PFFFFFFFFFFFFSFHGSGSRGSGISHYFRGLISFGIY" Marina spat, stumbling.

"PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFEGFKSGYIRYGFIREGHIRYG," was Everest's response, and they both looked to me. I stood still for a moment, then spoke.

"Well, Everest, I don't think making a longer sound makes it better, and clearly Marina was louder, so I declare Marina CHAMPION OF THE FART NOISES!

We all burst into a fit of giggling, then suddenly heard a clap of thunder, and the loud pitter-patter of rain hitting the roof. The three of us quieted down, then out of nowhere, the lights flickered, and shut off completely.

"EEEK!" Marina squealed, and I rolled my eyes.

"It's just a power outage, you guys will be fine." Everest stood still for a moment, looking at the moon through the window, then tore her gaze away to have her eyes rest on me.

"Is..... is it a full moon tonight?" she wondered aloud. "It is very beautiful." My eyes widened, then i looked away, making sure she didn't notice. Who the hell notices full moons? Maybe... no. I doubt it. I decided to change the subject.

"Well girls it is getting late and you two probably have to be home soon. I should think your parents are worried."

They both nodded, still swaying back and forth from drunkenness, and stumbled out of the door.

"DON'T DRIVE GIRLS! IT IS DANGEROUS OUT!" I yelled, worrying slightly.

"I WON'T!" they both yelled simultaneously.

I watched them walk down the street, then after they were out of sight, shut the door, plunging myself into complete darkness. It was cold already due to the winter, but with no heat it was freezing. My hand got a little tingly, then burst into flame, illuminating everything around me.

There was a person, about a foot away from me, smiling, knives in both of her hands. Her eye patch gleamed in the firelight and she spoke.

"Hello, Luna darling." I gulped, then hid it with a wink and a flip of my hair. I could not show weakness in front of her, and most times she didn't mind my disrespectfulness.

"Well, darling, it has certainly been a while hasn't it, Commander?"
