Wanda sipped her drink casually, trying to blend in. Over the radio had come Steve's voice, "All right what do you see?"
"Standard beat cops" Wanda replied, "Small station. Quiet street. It's a good target"
"There's an ATM on the South corner, which means?" Steve asked
"Cameras" She answered
"Both cross streets are one-way" Steve added
"So, compromised escape routes" Wanda said
"Means our guy doesn't care about being seen. He isn't afraid to make a mess on the way out. You see that Range Rover halfway up the block?" Steve spoke
"Yeah, the red one? It's cute" Wanda commented
"It's also bulletproof" Natasha joined in, "which means private security, which means more guns. Which means more headaches for somebody. Probably us"
"You guys know I can move things with my mind, right?" Wanda questioned
"Looking over your shoulder needs to become second nature" Nat said, making Wanda do just that
"Anybody ever tell you, you're a little paranoid?" Sam asked, Lydia walking next to him
"I know you're not talking to me but yes you have" She said, making him crack a brief smile before they both focused ahead of them
"Not to my face. Why? Did you hear something?" Natasha asked
"Eyes on target, folks" Steve interjected, "This is the best lead we've had on Rumlow in six months, I don't want to lose him"
"We won't. I'm getting this asshole one way or the other" Lydia scoffed
"If he sees us coming, that won't be a problem" Sam said, scoffing a big, "He kind of hates us"
"Sam.. See that garbage truck? Take it" Steve said
Sam launched Redwing, controlling it on a panel he had, "Give me x-ray" he spoke
"That truck's loaded for max weight" Sam said over the comms, "and the driver's armed"
"It's a battering ram" Nat commented
"Go now" Steve said, making Wanda question it
"He's not hitting the police" Steve said
Sam jumped down, spreading the wings of the suit with Lydia in his arms. The girl dropped down seconds later shouting a small thanks to her boyfriend as she landed onto the ground and pulled out her guns. Everyone began to fight, guns being fired and the team working with one another.
"Rumlow's on the third floor!" Sam said
"Wanda" Steve started, "Just like we practiced"
"What about the gas?" she asked
"Get it out" Steve said ------------------------------------------------------
"Rumlow has a biological weapon" Steve announced
"I'm on it" Natasha replied, fighting her way through people
Steve stepped outside the building, being flung around before falling to the ground. He quickly gave a direction to Sam as he stood back up. Lydia ran through the crowd, going after the two people on the right as Natasha went to the left.
"There you are you son of a bitch" Rumlow said as he approached Steve in his suit, "I've been waiting for this!"
Meanwhile Natasha had ran through people in the crowd, Lydia finally shooting the ones she'd followed.
"He doesn't have it, I'm empty" she called
Natasha was left in a stand off between two people, her and one holding a gun, the other holding what she needed. Redwing flew in, shooting the man as Natasha so fired making her quickly reach for the small tube.
"Payload secure. Thanks Sam" she answered
"Don't thank me" Sam said
"I'm not thanking that thing" she shook her head
"His name is Redwing" Sam told her
"I'm still not thanking it" Natasha continued
"He's cute. Go ahead, pet him" Sam smiled -------------------------------------------------------
"This is for dropping a building on my face" Rumlow told Steve, a blade coming from his suit as he tried to attack Steve yet again. The two fought until Steve kicked him back, Rumlow finally removing his mask
"I think I look pretty good all things considered"
"Who's your buyer?" Steve asked
"You know, he knew you" Rumlow said to the man, "Your pal, your buddy, your Bucky"
"What did you say?" Steve questioned
"He remembered you" Rumlow said again, "I was there. He got all weepy about it. Till they put his brain back in a blender. He wanted you to know something. He said to me, please tell Rogers, when you gotta go, you gotta go....and you're coming with me"
Rumlow pressed a button making fire blast everywhere but Wanda quickly stepped in stopping it and throwing him. She threw him into the building and watched as the fire spread, shock and fear filling the girl as she brought a hand up to cover her mouth.
"Sam, we need fire and rescue" Steve spoke, "On the South Side of the building. We gotta get up there"
Lydia immediately rushed to Wanda, putting a hand on her shoulder as the girl sat, tears in her eyes. ------------------------------------------------------
A/N: Finally an update! I'm so sorry I haven't updated much, I just haven't been on Wattpad that much. But hopefully you guys enjoyed this update! (The fact I wrote all this at night when I was supposed to be asleep)
