THIRTY-FIVE

I stayed with him for another hour after that talk. We remained silent but the presence of eachother is enough for us to feel contented of how we are now.

"Are you invited to Fritz's engagement party tomorrow?"I asked him after  awhile

His brows furrowed instantly. "Fritz? Why are you calling him Fritz? Are you two close?"

I licked and bit my lips to stop myself from smiling.

"He was...once introduced to me as a potential partner"biro ko

Natigilan siya doon at naramdaman kong lumuwang ang yakap niya sa akin galing sa likod. Nang marealize kong mali yatang sinabi ko 'yon ay humarap ako sa kaniya.

"I'm sorry. I rejected that though. My family also doesn't force me" I said and gave him a smile

Tumango siya at ngumiti. I am now facing him while sitting on his lap. I suddenly remembered how we saw eachother in that bar.

Napatitig ako sa mga mata niya na ngayon ay nililibot ang tingin sa buong mukha ko. Nilagay niya sa likod ng tenga ko ang iilang takas na buhok.

"So? What about Fritz's engagement party?"tanong niya habang hinahaplos ang mukha ko

"I asked you if you're invited, you're not listening" I pouted.

He chuckled. "I'm sorry, I couldn't pay attention well because you just called him Fritz."

I pouted more. He smiled sweetly at me now before leaning closer to give me a peck of kiss.

"Plus...you're so beautiful, it distracts me from our talk"he whispered after kissing me

Mahina ko siyang tinampal kaya natawa siya. Dahan-dahan kong pinulupot ang mga braso ko sa leeg niya.

"So? Are you invited or not?"I leaned now, slightly teasing him

His gaze went to my lips first and then stared at me now with a smirk on his face.

"I am. I have no plans of going though"he said now staring at my lips

"Sayang. Pupunta pa naman sana ako"sabi ko at mapaglarong ngumiti

He gulped. "Then, I'll go. I'll go with you"

Mahina akong natawa at tumayo. Agad na kumunot ang noo niya kaya mas lalo lang akong natawa.

"You're teasing me..."he said in an accusive tone

I just shrugged at him. He glared at me now. I raised my brows at him.

"You're glaring at me?"I asked, slightly raising my tone

Agad niya namang inayos ang tingin sa akin at ngumiti ngayon kahit na hilaw. Pinigilan ko ang sarili kong matawa.

Sa huli ay lumabas pa din ang halakhak ko. He's pouting now and avoiding his gaze away from me. Natatawa akong bumalik ng upo sa hita niya pero hindi niya pa din ako tinitignan.

Tumikhim ako pero hindi niya pa din ako pinansin. Marahan kong hinawakan ang mukha niya at pinaharap sa akin. Ngumiti ako sa kaniya at pinatakan siya ng halik sa labi.

Yumuko siya ngayon at kitang-kita ko na nagpipigil siya ng ngiti. He's so cute. Hindi ko na napigilan ang sarili ko, niyakap ko na siya ng mahigpit. He gave me the same intensity of tightness on the way he hugs me now.

Kinabukasan ay maaga akong nagising dahil aalis na si Freya. She didn't let me send her off dahil may trabaho pa ako.

That morning, I went to my shoots with my mind at ease. I did very well on the shoot. The directors and staffs showered me with praises so my mood got better.
