Information; This is a Power Rangers Samurai parody (because I've been watching too much of it because it's awesome, and I had the idea.) BUT it's not the traditional things like in the show. So basically, people evolve and some shit happens, but I'm gonna use the same names for the monsters in the show because I'm not creative enough to come up with cool names like those lol.
Characters: Grian- Original Red Ranger then shit happens, Xisuma- He'll appear at one point and take the Red title, Tango- Green, Impulse- Yellow, Ren- Blue, Pearl- Pink, An original character who only appears for a brief scene, Scar is basically the guys' mentor (Because why not.)
I don't know how this is gonna turn out but we'll see.

Grian and his team were outside of the Guardian's temple. As they walked in, they were greeted by men in red robes.
"Rangers." The man says, "What brings you here?"
"Guardians." Grian states, "We request your help. Xandred has risen and has laid base in the south side of town."
"You rangers need our help to defeat your-"
"Our."
"-Our enemy?"
Grian nodded, "He put my team out once..." He showed them the scar against his shoulder, "It nearly killed us."
"But you escaped using your symbol power. That's what matters." The guardian's guided them inside their temple. Grian was brought to a separate room so they could talk, "Your team of rangers alone cannot defeat the greatest evil, Red Ranger."
"That's why we're here."
"Sit."
Grian did so, the guardian returned with tea and a scroll.
"As you know, your mother had a special power that only rests in you for when you're ready."
"The sealing symbol?"
"Not just the sealing symbol. The Phoenix Zord was hers, and it needs to return to the next generation of your family."
"I can't just summon the Phoenix Zord." Grian nearly hissed, then put his finger on the image of the zord, "We-"
"You need to summon it. You need to find it."
"No, you don't understand. Xandred has the Phoenix Zord under his control!"
"The Phoenix Zord responds to only the blood of the Phoenix family. You don't have to worry about it. The Zord will come to you."
"Okay. I do not doubt you."
"Good, now drink your tea."
Grian picked up the cup, but stopped a second, "What about Xisuma? Will he return?"
"He will receive his call at the right time and he'll take your place."
Grian took a deep breath, "But he can't do the sealing symbol. He doesn't have Phoenix blood. It won't work."
"You worry way too much red ranger." The guardian slid a picture of Grian's mother towards him, "She's waiting for the call as well, ranger."
Grian hummed then took a sip of the tea, but spit it out and immediately felt weaker as he coughed, feeling his throat closing up quickly. The noise sent everyone straight into the room he was in. He had quickly started taking strained wheezing breaths as they suddenly heard the evil chuckle of the tentacle monster.
