Xisuma's phone rang violently, waking him and his partner, "Hello?"
"Hey Suma.... It's me."
"Grian? Why are you calling from the station?"
"I got arrested."
Silence.
"Suma?"
"How much is your bail?"
"Five hundred."
"I'm coming." Xisuma ended the call and got out of bed.
"Who was that?" His partner asked.
"My little brother. He got himself arrested." Xisuma sighed, "His bail is five hundred but since I'm his brother they might just let him go. I don't know. I might hit him though."
"I don't care what you do, just don't kill him."
As Xisuma walked into the office, he looked at the receptionist, "Where is he?"
"Holding cell three."
Grian sat in the holding cell with a smile and cuffs on his hands.
"Grian."
Grian looked up silently and waved, the cuffs jingled, "Hey Suma."
"What did you do?"
"I may or may not have basically wrecked Sam's car."
"Grian, what did you do?"
"A lot."
Xisuma took a deep breath in then sighed in annoyance, "I paid your bail. Let's go."
They uncuffed Grian and allowed him to go back with Xisuma. Grian could tell he was mad because he called him from the holding cell at three AM but he didn't care. He was proud of himself.
Once the two got outside, Xisuma hit him over the head, "T' fuck is wrong with you?! You know better than to get arrested!"
"Oh please, all I did was key his car, slash his tires... Broke his headlights...."
"Grian!"
"Carved my name into the seats."
"You're a fucking idiot."
"Hey, I caught Sam cheating on me. Again... I wasn't gonna let it stand."
The car ride to Xisuma's was silent. At least until Xisuma started scolding Grian again.
"You know you're lucky you just got a three month probation!"
"Worth it."
"You're proud of yourself aren't you?"
"Very."
"Grian."
"He deserved what he got. I feel no remorse."
