Warnings: Murder, Violence
Relationship: Grian/Xisuma (Fatherly)
Phoenix Watcher Grian, Void Watcher Xisuma
~***~
I worry every time our skies turn purple.
I always see Grian stand outside his base when they turn, looking up worryingly wondering if the barrier would fail to keep them out. I could always see his watcher attributes from where I watched on the treetops. The eye that rested on the base of his neck would be enough to light up the forest.
I watched the sun set and Grian retreat into his home. When I saw him come out in his Watcher cloak, I followed him.
I saw him portal to the main hub, then willingly meet two six foot watchers.
"GRIAN WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Xisuma shouted, immediately getting the attention of all three magical beings, "Why are you sneaking away to meet Watchers?!"
A twinge of guilt came across the young hybrids face, "I can't let them hurt anyone, I'm sorry."
"I'm not allowing my only kid to join-"
"It is not your choice to make, Xisumavoid." The Watcher interrupted, "Little birdy decided to come with us as a slave."
"His name is Grian you incompetent slug." He looked at Grian, "Home, now."
"I can't..."
They left in a circle of purple fire, leaving Xisuma speechless and annoyed that Grian had left with them. Though he knew he was sending death to his home server, he still went after Grian, knowing he wouldn't be happy with them after the mention of the word 'slave'.
The moment he arrived however, he was immediately taken into custody by the head Watcher himself.
"You think you're really smart." The Watcher stated, "You've left your server to suffer in flames without the help of a magic user."
"You'll never kill them all."
"Well, anything our flames come into contact with, that breathes at that, perishes. So your little oxygen breathing friends will soon die to the inhalation of our fire."
"You do know that not all of them breathe oxygen and can easily come here and seek revenge... Right?"
The watcher stayed silent then went back to his monologue, "Any last words before your whole server and server mates are destroyed, powerless Xisumavoid?"
He went to open his mouth, but then the doors slammed open and a small Watcher started walking up. Xisuma knew that walk, he remembered the slight limp that the being walked with and smiled.
"When I said that you could take me..." He paused and froze in his place, lifting his head so the prime Watcher could see his red and blue eyes mixing with the purple of the Watchers, "I didn't say you could harm my family too. Let him go."
"This is none of your concern, Xelqua."
Grian's body engulfed in flames then appeared in front of the Watcher, "You hurt my father. It is all of my business." He then simply forced Xisuma's chains off his body and lightly placed him on the ground, "Are we going to have issues?"
"You're way out of line. Go back to your cell!"
Grian surrounded the Watcher in a violent purple flame, "What? Scared of a little birdy? I've only just begun."
Their fight wasn't very exciting, at least until Grian decapitated the watcher and took his head as a trophy.
Xisuma tried asking Grian to leave the head behind, but the only thing that was said from the younger was,
"I'm the king now."
