38. Hunter's Restraint

I don't know how I am meant to take it slow with Ellie, she sends me crazy with need and desire, words cannot express how much I want to make love to her, but I promised myself and I promised her we will take this slow; we will make sure we do everything right.

I just got home from the meeting in her office my god I have never experienced anything sexier in my life, the confidence that she paraded around the office building and the dominance she showed when she was in her office.

It took everything in me to stop.

I can't believe I ever thought Damian was a threat, he is actually a really great guy, I can honestly say I have never blushed from the words of another man before, but in the office after Ellie's little display when he gave me a chair to sit on, he just couldn't help but compliment my unavoidable arousal, only something that probably Damian would have done.

I still can't believe Ellie sat there looking so innocent as if she had not just pushed me almost to breaking point, she had perfect timing for stopping though.

I don't have Rosie tonight and I have a few hours until I call Ellie, so there is no time like the present to start on the plans for the building. I am so grateful that Eliana is providing us with this opportunity, I am just ecstatic for James and Rachel and if we can land this contract, James will never have to worry again, he will even be able to spend extra time with Rachel through the pregnancy and when the baby is born.

It was six o'clock when I got off the phone from Rosie, when she is not with me, I call her every night, to see how her day was.

I couldn't wait anymore, I wanted to hear Ellie's voice again, I wish she was not working so hard, so I dialled her number and she answered straight away, but it wasn't just that she answered that had me smiling, it was the fact that I could tell she was smiling and she wanted me to call her.

Through the start of the conversation, she was telling me about the pastries that Bella had bought in for her and she wished that I was there to taste one, although she probably did not mean it as an invitation, I told her I would be there soon and hung up so that she wouldn't argue with me not to turn up.

I couldn't help but smile on the drive over knowing that I was going to see her, if she was going to be busy every night at work, I might just have to make it a habit to eat dinner with her in her office, I have noticed that she has lost weight in the month that we were not together.

I parked my car in the Hotel, I didn't feel like trying to find a car park on the street, Mel provided me with a pass the day I stayed with Rosie when she was sick so that I wouldn't have to pay for parking. I am still grateful that Mel has helped me so much in getting Ellie back, she loves the influence that Ellie has in Rosie.

I made my way through the foyer and towards the elevator, I bought some work with me, hoping that I can stick around and spend more time with Ellie.

The attendant in the elevator was different than today and I was a little shocked when I stepped in and he greeted me "Good Evening Mr Black, Miss Hastings is expecting you, I will take you to her now" I thanked him as we made our way up to the office level, after thanking him again and stepping out of the elevator, I made my way to Ellie's office.

The door was open and she was actively typing on the computer and I couldn't help but be in awe of her beauty, how have I not spent the past year simply just admiring her and treating her like the absolute queen she is.

I didn't want to invade her space so I lightly knocked on the door and her eyes lifted up and a smile brightened her face as she saw me standing there, she pushed her chair back and walked in my direction, my legs automatically met her in the middle, I held all my work in one hand while I circled my other hand around her waist and her arms came up around my neck and her smile never faulted as she touched her lips with mine, both then breaking away smiling at each other.
