I looked down at my phone as it started to ring, Eliana's name appeared on the screen. I was about to go in for my meeting with council to drop off all the finalised paperwork and get the certificate of completion so I hesitantly swiped my finger over the decline call symbol.

After Damian had come to my parents' house last night and told us that he and Eliana had a fight and she ended up going out somewhere alone. All my thoughts have been on, if she went home with someone.

I couldn't shake the feeling that if that happened, it would be all over for us, I know she has stayed distant since that stupid night that I over reacted and called her a whore, I really had no right. I just wish that she would sit and talk with me and we could work this out.

I tried to back off since Rosie's birthday and give her a bit of space, I do believe that deep down she loves me still. Was giving her space the wrong thing to do.

Is there really absolutely no chance for us anymore?

Just as I was called into the office, I heard the message alert but ignored it and put the phone back in my pocket.

After finishing with my meeting and handing in all the completed paperwork. I was officially done with Ellie's office building. I know we have other work lined up with her but it is getting harder to see her without being able to touch her or kiss her.

I have no idea why she let me kiss her the other night, I wanted to ask her what she was thinking when she grabbed my hand and wouldn't let go, but I didn't want to wake Rosie so I just kissed her.

When I sat in my car, I finally looked at my phone, Ellie had sent me a message telling me she needs to see me.

Instead of replying or calling her back, I just started my car and drove back to Ellie's office with my thought wondering if this was the time that she tells me she wants nothing to do with me completely, that she was with someone else last night.

Could this really be the end?

I made my way back up to the top floor of the office building and into Ellie's new office, I felt nervous and sick, my jacket starting to feel restricting, once I put all these files and certificates onto her desk, I am officially done.

"Oh hey man, you're back, how did everything go" James questioned as he was standing in the doorway.

"We are officially finished, feel like going out tonight for a few drinks to celebrate, we can see if everyone else wants to go as well" I asked him more for the fact that I didn't want to go home alone and think about Ellie all night.

He gave me an unreadable look before he asked "did Ellie get in touch with you"

I shook my head no "I was heading into the meeting and couldn't answer. Why?

"She came here earlier looking for you, she didn't look too good, I was just wondering if she was ok" he worriedly asked.

"I will go and see her now and tell her everything is finalised, let me know about drinks tonight" I said as I walked past him although I couldn't hide the concern in my voice, I hope she is ok.

As I reached the office floor in the hotel everyone was moving around frantically, moving boxes around, I saw Ellie's door was opened so I walked over to it and knocked from the doorway but as I looked around I couldn't see her.

Damian looked up at me from where he was standing putting tape on one of the boxes "Oh hey man, I thought you would be with Ellie" surprise was etch into his eyes at the fact that I wasn't with her.

"I missed her call" I simply told him as I looked around the room some more, "you guys managed to pack this all today" I asked as I saw boxes piled up through the office.
