40. Moving Forward

After getting a hire car big enough for all of us, John drove us to the Hotel, it was a little ragged looking but nothing that a bit of paint and new furniture couldn't fix. I went over and met with the manager and checked in, he had been expecting me and has been talking to Oliver about different things that I wanted. He gave us the room keys and advised me that Oliver will be here in about an hour as well as the owner Mr Belleview, so we will have time to settle in.

I gave a key to John and Margaret for their room and handed a key to Mel for her room, Hunter was shocked when I handed him 2 keys but I explained that he has a key for Mel's room as well for when he has Rosie and she might need something. He relaxed after that, I think he thought that I wanted him to sleep in a different room, but there is nowhere that I want him to be but right next to me.

We said our goodbyes to Mel and Rosie outside our room and I informed Mel to meet me back here is 45 minutes so we can make our way to the first meeting, I could tell she didn't want to go to the meeting because of Oliver, but being a professional she just agreed and they went to their own room.

Hunter and I walked into the room and again, I thought it looked a bit worn out but can be easily fixed.

It was like he couldn't keep his hands off me, the moment the door was closed he had me in his arms. "I need to have a shower and freshen up" I said looking up at him before adding "do you want to join me".

He groaned out his reply "If I get in that shower with you sweetheart, there is no way you will be ready in time to get to your meeting, we will just have to have a bath together when you get back" he said kissing my neck, I looked over and there was a jacuzzi tub in the room, so a bath with him was going to happen.

I ended up showering alone not before a heated make out session, my god I love this man, I am going to make sure he knows it tonight.

Mel arrived right on time with Rosie, it melted my heart when she ran and jumped into Hunter's arms, I am so happy that he has this relationship with Rosie now, I know how upset he was when I first met him about not being able to see his daughter and now, she wants to spend time with him all the time and I must admit he is an amazing father.

I walked over to Hunter to kiss him goodbye and we ended is a group hug when Rosie put her arm around my neck as well and yelled out "group hug", I think that as of tonight she is going to be extremely happy when I tell Hunter I fully trust him with my heart again and we will be together all the time, I will stay at his home again and she will know that everything is ok.

Mel said goodbye to Rosie and we made our way out of the Hotel room towards the elevators again, I had Mel jotting down notes of things that needed to be done on our way down. It was quiet for a minute in the Elevator and I couldn't wipe the smile off my face if I wanted to.

"How are you and Hunter going" Mel surprised me by asking.

"Don't worry the smile on your face tells me everything, is this week like a special week to tell him how you feel finally" she asked.

"Yeah" I said slightly blushing

"I am so glad you are in Rosie's life Ellie" she said smiling at me "It's always worrying about the person the father of your child ends up with, but I know how much you love her and I know how much she loves you, thank you for everything you have done for us" she said before taking a deep breath and fanning her face with her hand "Nope too emotional to have this talk here" she said trying to calm down.

"I'm really sorry Mel" I said knowing that I was sorry for a lot of things.

"What for" she asked giving me a questioning look.
