Luke took Ryder up to the main house while I got ready for the doctor. I'm not sure why I'm so nervous it's not like I haven't done this before and already know the answer.

When Luke came back I was ready to go. We got in the truck and he drove us to the doctor's office.

"It feels like we have just done this." Luke laughed.

"It really does and here we are crazy doing this again." I smile at him as we get out of the truck.

We walked in and I signed in and we waited a little while before being called back.

The nurse did the normal weight checking and blood pressure before leaving.

"So here we are." I smiled.

"I'm happy to be here with you." He smiled leaning in for a kiss.

The door opened and Dr. Terry smiled. "What brings you two back in here so soon?"

"Well um, I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant Dr. Terry," I said.

"Wow ok well, let's do some bloodwork and go from there. How is Ryder?" He asked.

"Ryder is good and with his grandparents today," I said.

"Good! Ok, let me grab the nurse." He said walking out the door.

The nurse came in shortly and took some blood from my arm and then left the room.

Luke grabs my hand and squeezes it before bring it to his lips kissing it.

It wasn't long until Dr. Terry walked back in. "Well I don't have to tell you but yes you are pregnant."

"Thanks for confirming Dr. Terry. I've been sick for a while and ignoring it." I said.

"Let's check and see just how far along you are." He said squirting gel on my stomach.

"I'm not sure about that part." I laughed.

"Well, things look good. Let's see. It looks like you are around eight weeks Poppy."

I looked over at Luke and he smiled at me and winked. He melts my heart all over again.

"Here are your first pictures of many." Dr. Terry said.

"Thank you, Dr. Terry," Luke said.

"Make sure you make an appointment out front and I'll see you again soon." He said.

We headed out to the parking lot and got in the truck. "How about some diner?" I asked Luke.

"Sounds good baby momma." He smiled.

We pulled up at the diner and went in and Ayla saw us and smiled. 'Have a seat I'll be right with you."

We went to our spot and sit down and when she came over she knew what I wanted already but took Luke's order.

When Ayla walked back over she put the plate down and then put her hands on her hips. "You only order this when you're pregnant."

"Shhhhh!" I said looking at her.

She put her hand over her mouth and her eyes got big. "I'm sorry!"

"It's ok Ayla we just found out today actually but it's a secret." I smiled.

"Yeah so don't say nothing." Luke laughed.

"I know nothing." She smiled walking off.

"Guess we are going to be telling really early this time," I said.

"Yeah, I guess we are." He smiled.

We eat our food and headed back to the house. We parked the truck and then got on the side by side and headed down to the main house.

Once inside I could hear Ryder babbling and went in search of him and found him sitting in front of the tv in Dad's arms.

"How did he do?" I asked.

"Oh, he loves spending time with Pappy. How are you?" He asked.

"I'm good. I have pictures and I think we may should just go ahead and tell come Sunday dinner." I said.

"Well good thing you just have two days to hold it in then but I want to see the pictures," Dad said.

"Well, you have to go upstairs then," I said.

"Luke come get your son!" Dad hollered.

Luke walked in the door looking confused and took Ryder.

"Dad wants to see the pictures so we will be upstairs. Send mom up there." I said.

"Alright, I'm going to hang out down here with my little man." He said.

Once upstairs and I shut the door and walked over to Dad's desk and pulled the sonogram out and handed it to him.

"We are eight weeks," I said.

"Wow, I'm glad things are ok Poppy, and I'm happy for the both of you." He said.

The door opened and mom walked in. "Luke told me to come up here."

"Here have a look GG," Dad said.

"How far along are you?" She asked.

"Eight weeks," I said.

"When are you going to tell everyone?" Mom asked.

"I figured at Sunday dinner but I think we need to go tell Luke's parents because they may feel left out since you two know," I said.

"Good idea. Do you want us to keep Ryder?" Mom asked.

"No Daisy and Ron would be upset if they didn't see him." I laughed.

"Yeah, Holland you can't hog him." Dad laughed.

"Let's get out of this room before people wonder what's going on," I said taking the sonogram and putting it in my back pocket.

When we walked downstairs I walked over to Luke. "Hey, why don't we go see your parents this evening and tell them because I don't want them to feel left out since my parents know," I said.

"Sounds good let me text my mom and tell her so she can cook us something." He laughed.

I took Ryder from Luke and went to a spare room and sit down to feed and burp him.

When I walked back out Luke was talking to Uncle Austin and when he saw me and Ryder he opened his hands wanting to hold him.

"Mom said by there by six so we won't be here for dinner so you might want to tell Clara." He said.

"Why don't you tell Clara?" I asked.

"Because I don't want to hurt her feelings, Poppy." He laughed.
