I shut the door to the room after she left. "That was weird dude." Elijah said. "I know, but I don't really care." They do have a nice house though, it's bigger then ours. I'm thinking about the reaction I saw on her face during our 15 second encounter. It was like pain was written across it. "Bro this house is amazing! The shower is huge and the bathroom is probably bigger then the bedroom!" I heard Eli yell from the bathroom and I chuckled at his words. "I'll be back, I'm gonna look around." I yelled to Eli from the room.
I closed the door to the room and started walking down the long hallway. They had a lot of family photos on their walls. Some of just random flowers or weapons. As I was walking, one caught my eye, there was a little girl, a boy older then the girl and another girl older then both of them. They were all laughing in the photo. The youngest in the grass with a smile on her face and the boy tickling her and the oldest one smiling at them.
"That one, the youngest is me, the boy is my brother Ethan and the other girl is my sister Natalia." I almost jumped at her words, she came out of no where.
"Sorry if I scared you." She said. "Its fine." I said. "Can I ask you a question?" I said. She nodded. "Where's Lauren?" I asked. She paused. "Um-" She was cutoff by someone yelling dinner is ready. "Lets go eat." she said with a small smile and walked away. She's ...mysterious. I'm gonna figure her out while I'm hear for god knows how long. I followed behind her. I felt a gush of wind run past me and saw that it was Eli. "HEY CUPCAKE! WHERES THE KITCHEN" he yelled in front of us. She told him to just follow her. I swear he's a literal child sometimes.
We walked down the stairs to see a beautiful dining room, Mrs. Russo was cooking some food. They have maids but not cooks. I sat down next to Eli who sat next to Aria, who looked annoyed at his talking. Mrs. Russo made chilli, which was delicious. Our fathers talked about their plans with this whole Russian shit. Everything was fine then-

The room got silent and a bowl smashed next to Liza's chair. She started to cry, she always does when she thinks she does something wrong. "I'm sorry!!" she said while crying. Mom went and picked her up and Mrs. Russo grabbed a rag from the kitchen and picked it up. "I'm going to put her to bed." Mom said over Liza's loud crying.
We finished eating and Me, Eli, Aria and Lauren went upstairs. "Hey Lauren." Eli said breaking the silence. "What?" she said. "How come you haven't called me yet?" He said. I rolled my eyes at his words. "Didn't know I was supposed to-" She was cut off my Eli, "Well now's the time, or come and pop in my room!" he said smiling big. She gave him the thumbs up and we all went our separate ways. Me and Eli walked in our room. He walked to the bed and sat down. "Seems like my big brother has a crush." He said is a baby tone. "What the fuck are you talking about?" I said.
"I saw you two in the hallway talking like non-enemies." He said. He was right, we are enemies, I need to think of a way to get back at her while I'm here. Yeah I know this is childish but she wanted to play with fire so I'm gonna play to.
I need a fucking cold shower.
