Chapter 24
Howling Shadow

Bago niya pa ako mahuling na nakatitig sa likuran niya habang naglalakad kami sa malimlim na pasilyo ay agad na akong umiwas. Tinuon ko nalang ang atensyon sa unahan. Subalit nang mapansin ko ang ngisi sa labi niya ay pairap ako ditong lumingon. Kinakabahan na may maisip siyang masama sa simple kong pagmamasid.

"Ano?"

He chuckle feeling great about himself. "I said nothing."

"You're grinning." Pilit kong tinago ng pagkabog ng puso at baka marinig niya. Malakas ang epekto ng bawat hakbang niya, lalo na at sumasagi ito saaking balat.

"Why? Are you attracted?" I look away. He manly chuckled that echoed on the whole hallway. "Don't worry, sweety. I don't mind having an admirer."

My jaw clenched. Sabi na nga ba at akala niyang pinagpapantasyahan ko siya eh. "Where are we heading?" I asked flatly.

"You'll see..." He replied under his breath. Kahit pilit ay nanahimik nalang ako at patuloy na sumunod.

Under the pearl above the sky. The one that shines in the midst of darkness in this gloomy night. The pearl who we called moon who leave everyone lost yet astounded.

We'll be watching it together.

After the invitation, without a word, we flee from the hallway leaving it empty and ominous. Our shadow voyage in the deepest part of the castle that no one would dare to travel. I got curious a bit. Where are we really heading? And — why watch it with me?

Is there a bizarre explanation? Is there something more than watching the beauty of the moon together? Because feeling his hand on mine is making me delusional to add more meaning. What are we?

Feelings that are left unsaid and being pushed by mix signals will end up a heart lost.

And I wanna be found.

Tinahak pa namin ang ilang pasilyo nang tahimik. Tahimik na siya. Analyzing it, Radzyn have too many personality. The one who jumps in too much joy and the prince who crippled in silence under these thick shadow. And this personality always gives me off a vibe that I want to pursue to uncover.

I swallow hard by my thoughts. I just really can't help to control my curiosity.

Like; what are his deepest scars? Darkest secret? Demons and lashes? How bad could he be or even the type of beast he could turn into? How does he became the man who lurks into mysteries?

I have never felt this feeling of excitement every time I see someone but him. Sakan'ya lang. That's why I want to know him well. Because Radzyn and I? I can still feel the high border between us.

Hindi ko pa siya ganoon kakilala.

I have to break more skin than I expected. I have to risk time. But since it's Radzyn — the only man who saw my beauty even back at Gredorma — the man who said too many wonderful things to me. That whenever he see roses, he remembers me. And it haunted him.

I tried to run from it. I denied the growing affection, but I found his name so beautiful even better when I say it.
