Salacia POV

I pulled my horse to a walk to look at the path. I breathed happily. 'When I get there I can change, more so...warmer.' I thought to myself as I looked down at the skirt of my dress. As we made our way down the path I heard Bofur speak up. "How much farther? We're losing light!" He said. I conjured a ball of light in my hand, easily brightening up a mile in front of us. "Wow..." I heard Bilbo whisper beside me. "Wanna hold it?" I asked. "Wh-what?!" He asked. I reached and took his hand before using concentration to keep the light glowing while not in physical contact with it. "W-wow!" Bilbo stuttered smiling ear to ear. I giggled. "Keep it up for me so I can see." I said. Bilbo nodded, "and don't stare directly at it." I said seeing his head pop up. I got off my horse seeing a familiar large platform of rock. "Alright, now everyone STAY OFF THE ROCK." I said forcefully. I rubbed my hands together before kneeling and placing my fingertips on the rock. I recited a spell under my breath that unlocked my protection barrier I had put on this little safe haven of mine. Suddenly the rock disintegrated into air, revealing a large cave going down and opening up. ((Picture)). "And how are we supposed to get down there?" Dwalin asked. "I wasn't done you know." I snipped playfully. I shot a green beam of light at a wall of Moss and vines. The vines shot out, from every stone wall creating a staircase. "Wow...your much better than Gandalf you know." Bilbo said. "Oh no, I just know little elemental tricks...no big deal." I said as I led my horse down the wide step stairs.

As soon as we all got down I cast another protection barrier around our entire area, even a mile out side the cave...just to be safe. "So...lass you said there was a lake?" Balin asked. "Oh! Right! Thank you~!" I said before rushing past the dwarves causing them to follows me. We where led to a very large open space where there was only a stone pit. "Uh..." Kili said. I held my hands over the pit and closed my eyes taking a deep breath. "Engnithy aute aquitarium!" I said loud and clear. Suddenly the air chilled as we watched fresh crystal clear water gush up from the various cracks in the stone, like geysers. "Haha this is amazing!!!" Ori and Fili yelled. I smiled. "Please! Go ahead and bathe if you wish. Afterwards I'll re clean the water and we can drink it!" I said happily. Suddenly a hand was placed on my shoulder. "Yes?" I asked turning to face Thorin. "Thank you very much," he said. I grinned, "anything to help the quest and keep the company happy." I said kindly. He grinned and nodded to me. I turned and saw Gandalf looking at the water. "I remember teaching you a water summoning spell when you where a child!" He said. I laughed, "yeah, it just strengthened as I grew. I could summon an ocean if I tried." I laughed, I looked past Gandalf and saw Gloin and Dwalin about to rip some tree branches off my tree. "STOP!" I yelled, they froze. "Please don't harm my tree!!" I said running to them. "How are we ta make a fire?" Dwalin asked. I sighed and lit my hand ablaze with magic. "I'm sure I could handle that." I said. They looked at my arm on fire in shock. I smirked and went back to the others. Bilbo helped me set up camp, I used a spell to make the ground where each of them where sleeping to have the feeling of a nice bed. "Alright, shall we get a fire going while all the dwarves are bathing?" I asked the hobbit. He nodded. I reached into my back and pulled out a large pouch. "What's that?" He asked. "It's call Egnithy, or Nevermore. It doesn't burn. You could light this a million times and it will never burn." I said as I pulled the fluffy plant out and set it on the ground. "That's amazing." Bilbo said as I lit a nice warm fire. "Yeah~ it's kept me warm on more nights than I can count." I said standing and stretching. I turned and saw some of the dwarves beginning to head back. "Ah! Nothin like a good warm fire~" Bofur said happily passing me. "Yes but don't put water on this fire to put it out alright?" I said. They nodded and went on their way to make food. I went down to the lake and saw Kili and Fili drying their torsos off. I was astonished at their muscles...no...doubt. "H-hey! There's food and a fire up there." I said quietly. They smiled at me and became towards me. They both had nice chest hair, Fili more than Kili, however they both had nice bodies. "Thanks Sal~" Kili said.

(it's not s-A-l as in the a in Apple, it's just like how you say Salacia, just cut off at l.)

I grinned and nodded looking around for the King. "Where's Thorin?" I asked. "Um not sure, I think he went around back to camp." Fili said before they left. I nodded. "I guess it's my turn then~" I said before stripping my clothes and going into the soothing water. I then forgot that I left my hair changing power in my back. I looked around and walked back to my back, I was freezing. I crouched down and grabbed crushable white pellets. I went back into the water and dunked my head. I crushed the pellets in my hand and then rubbed the powder through my hair. I watched as it turned to a white-purpleish color. I grinned as I kept scrubbing my hair before rinsing it. I washed my body before peacefully swimming through the water. I suddenly heard all the dwarves laughing and singing happily. I grinned and got out of the water before wrapping my cloak around myself. I walked out barefoot past the camp towards a large iron chest I had there. I opened it up and pulled out some spare clothes. I dressed myself and pulled out my hat I had. I conjured a warm heat in my hand and dried my hair before putting my hair into a pony tail to hold back all my luscious hair. My I had used a small masking spell to make my hair look thinner and shorter than it really was. Given I never cut my hair it was quite long and...*cough* quiet astonishing. I put my had on the had after pulling my hood over my head. I walked back to the company and grinned at all the fun they where having. "He-who are you?!" Dwalin yelled standing with his axe in his hand. All of them instantly stood, armed. "Whoa whoa whoa!!! It's me!!!" I said holding my hands up. "What? What happened to your hair and clothes?" Fili asked. I took my hat off and grinned. "I just changed the color." I said. "No! It's thicker as well...I cannot tell if it is longer though." Bofur said. I nodded, "it is." I said. "How long?" Kili asked. I scowled and pulled my tie out of my hair and let it fall. It fell to my ankles. Suddenly all of the dwarves where looking at me lovestruck...even Dwalin! I blushed and pulled it up into a bun. "Yeah, anyways it's me. Don't worry. Nobody can get in here." I said sitting down. "Hm...why did ye change yer hair?" Gloin asked. "Oh, this is my actual hair." I said simply pulling the thick ponytail over my shoulder. "Why didn't you braid it?" Fili asked. I blushed slightly, "I...don't know how to." I said. They looked at me surprised. "U-uh anyways! Where's food??" I asked. Bofur laughed and Bombur handed me a bowl of stew. We suddenly heard a small splash. "That must be Thorin." Dwalin said. I nodded and went back to my stew.

After I finished I put my bowl away and walked down to the lake. There I saw Thorin sitting on a rock rebraiding his hair. "Hey, there's food still up there." I said with a kind smile. He nodded to me with a grin. "Enjoy your bath?" I asked. "Very much, thank you again for doing this for us." He said. I laughed, "of course! I have so many hidden spots similar to this on the path of our journey." I said. He grinned and nodded. I looked at my hair over my shoulder and sighed, it was going to get knotted beyond saving if I left it like this. "H-hey Thorin...." I said quietly. "Yes?" He asked. I blushed slightly, "okay...I know doing this is associated with courting but I assure you this is not how That's ment," I said. He looked at me oddly. "Can you braid my hair for me...I don't know how..." I asked. He suddenly let out a small laugh, "of course, come." He said. I smiled and sat on the ground in front of him. He pulled my hair out of its bun and was...utterly surprised by how my hair I had. Through I feel like he was excited to braid it. He braided one long thick braid down my back and two braids infront of my ears. I smiled and pulled my braid over my hair. He had done it so quick, smooth and perfectly. "Thank you so much!!!" I said excitedly before hugging him. "Sure, how about I teach you at one point?" He asked. I nodded fast. "Yeah! That'd be amazing!" I said. We walked back happily to camp to join the others at the fire.
