Salacia PoV
"Salacia~"
I heard the voice as smooth as silk. I turned around and covered my mouth. I could even move. "Come my beautiful river child." She said kneeling down slightly holding her arms open. I didn't hesitate to run right into her arms and hug her tightly. I began to cry as she hugged me. "Hush now, no tears." She said as I let go and looked at her. I laughed slightly while wiping my eyes. "Lady Galadriel I've missed you so much!" I said. She cupped my cheek with her hand. "I have missed you as well, you've grown so much since I last saw you when you were a child." She said. "Yeah...it has been quite a while Hasn't it?" I asked. "Your power, it's grown significantly." She said. I nodded, "b-but I haven't been using it to even half its potential, like you told me." I said. "Good, good...come." She said turning. "Lady Galadriel?" I asked going after her. "No? (Yes?)" she replied. "Why can't I use my powers fully...I have no idea what I'm even capable of." I said. "That's exactly why...you do not know what you are capable of." She said. "It is not safe..." She said. "Am...I dangerous?" I asked. "You can be," she said turning to me with a grin, she kissed my forehead, "my sweet river child, trust me that I am making the right decision with you." She said. I nodded, "I do...I just don't understand." I said looking up at her. "Tomorrow I will have you join us for a white council meeting. Go rest, replenish your energy and center your soul." She said. I knew not to ask any other questions. I nodded and hugged her gently, "*Abarad (until tomorrow)." I said. "N'i tôl i lû nîn sill (until then my daughter)" she said I smiled and waved as I took my leave of her honorable presence. I walked back to my room and saw the moon was full and bright. "Seems like a perfect night to try out the moon stones..." I said to myself before changing into loose flowy light blue pants that hung on my hips, I also put on a loose white shirt that was at a v-neck accenting my chest and was cut short exposing my stomach, it had long flowy sleeves. I grabbed the pouch of moonstones Fili had found me and made my way outside, barefoot.
I walked out to a large circular balcony that looked over the entire valley in all its glory. I sat my legs crossed and pulled the stones out, placing them in a circle around me. Once I felt all was in order I set the empty pouch aside, pulled my hair out of its braid letting it fall loose around me and closed my eyes. I took calm smooth breaths. The fresh air smelled slightly of flowers and water. I breathed in through my nose and out through my mouth. My palms facing up began to feel icy, I could feel balls of ice, water and light forming in them, all mixed together.Kili PoV
I went to search for Salacia so we could go on our walk, however I couldn't find her anywhere. "May I help you?" I jumped hearing a voice behind me. I turned and saw Lord Elrond. "I'm uh, looking for Salacia." I said. "She is in the north tower balcony, you will find her there." He said simply before moving on. "Thank you!" I said after him. I made my way up towards the north tower, needing to asked various elves for directions on the way there. When I finally made my way there I saw Salacia sitting perfectly still with bright blue balls of light in her palms, her hair was floating gracefully...and she was levitating. I noticed bright blue stones around her, all connected by what looked like a white silky light stirring around her. I decided to say nothing until she was done. I sat down and watched her, I could hear her breaking enchantments. I suddenly began to feel wind picking up around us...rapidly. I watched as suddenly a visible ball of wind formed around her, spinned like a hurricane. "S-Salacia?" I asked. I was beginning to get concerned. "Salacia?!?" I asked as her eyes staying closed and her skin was white. I stood up and walked near her. My hair was blowing every which way. I reached out and never so lightly touched the wind sphere, which was now turning black. Though as soon as I did my entire body felt a massive shock and then numbness, shooting me back against one of the stone pillars. My body went heavy and dark. I felt as though there where three ton boulders being laid on my shoulders and my head and heart where swimming with concern, confusion and mixed emotions. My vision turned fuzzy but I saw Salacia smash to the ground and sprint to me. "KILI!!!!!" She said franticly. "Wh-what?" I slurred. I tried to get up but she straddled my lap and pushed me back. "No! Don't move. Stay still!" She said. I felt her hands press against my temples, they felt like ice. I saw her close her eyes and her body have a faint glow around it as she began chanting something. I suddenly felt the negative feeling that was fulling my body being pulled from it. She continued chanted and occasionally she would toss her hands like she where throwing something then put them back. After the fifth time she opened her eyes. She looked at mine. "How do you feel?" She asked. I felt absolutely fine now, whatever she did...it helped. "I feel fine." I said. She sighed in relief and hugged me around my chest, resting her forehead on my shoulder. "Kili NEVER do that again." She breathed. "What did I do exactly?" I asked. She leaned back and looked at me, "I assume you where watching me for quite some time?" She asked. I nodded, "yes, that bubble of wind around me...it contained all my negative energy: stress, worry, depression, anxiety...ect. When you touched it you consumed my dark energy into your body." She said. "Is that bad?" I asked. She nodded, "the weight of sorrows I carry, my body can handle. Yours can't, your soul would crack and shatter." She said. I suddenly saw her eyes prick with tears. "N-no! Please don't cry! I'm sorry!" I said panicked. She then hugged me tightly, "I was so scared, I've never had someone do that I didn't know how to fix it!!!" She choked out. "Wait...then what did you do to me?" I asked. She sniffed and leaned back, "I absorbed it, as well as yours. It was the only thing I could think of." She said. "Wait...your carrying my negative energy?" I asked. She nodded, "you don't have very much actually, that makes me happy. Someone as kind as you shouldn't." She said. I smiled. "I need you to do something with me though, to make sure I don't hang onto all of this dark energy and I want to be sure I got all of mind out of you." She said. "Yes?" I asked. She stood and pulled me up, she led to the balcony and replaced the moon stones in an arch along the edge of the stone. "Sit cross legged." She said. I did as told and she sat the same with her knees against mine. "Hold up your hands, press them to mind." She said. I did as told, her hands where much smaller than mine. "Now, close your eyes, and no matter what you hear...do not open them until I tell you alright?" "Wait..." I said. "Yes?" She asked. "This weight on your shoulders...and this pain in your chest...is this how you feel all the time?" I asked, slightly concerned. She shook her head, "no, not all the time, now close your eyes." She said. I did as told and heard her begin to chant. As the spell went on I felt myself being lifted off the ground, I also felt what felt like water holding Salacia and I's hands together. Around me I felt fast, ripping wind. I closed my eyes tighter as I began to hear voices...screaming...taunting voices. They where saying something I couldn't understand, except the name Salacia. Was this her negative energy? Does she hear these voices in her head? I couldn't understand what they where saying...but I knew it wasn't nice. I felt a chill go down my spine, and the voices disappear as well as the wind. "Kili, now, open your eyes but do not pull away your hands." She said. I peaked my eyes open...and saw a bubble around us. A colored beautiful bubble, the side I was on was colored a combination of yellow and green, Salacia's was Silver and clear. "Wh-what is this?" I asked. I noticed that there was a chain shaped water clasped around our hands. "This is our energy combined. It is cleaned of all negative energy flowing through our bodies." She said smiling. "Now that you mention it," I said smiling, "I do feel much happier!" I said. She laughed and nodded, "yeah! That's because all I left in you was your good spirits." She said before lowering us back down to the ground. The bubble disappeared and we stood. My body felt lighter and my vision was more clear than it had ever been before. "I think I need to go to sleep," Salacia said smiling. I nodded, "yeah, I'm going to go re-join the company....maybe we can have our walk another time?" I asked. She nodded, "defiantly!!" She said giggling before she kneeled down and picked up all her stones, putting them back into the pouch. "Well, goodnight Kili." She said going past me. "Oh! And tell the others I said goodnight." She said. "Will do, goodnight!" I said. After she left I looked out over the view. This was such an odd feeling...I felt like a cloud. I made my way back to the company, not a worry in the world...except to why Salacia was so panicked...I didn't feel anything other than those feelings. I always was wondering why Salacia feels and hears all those awful things.
