Salacia POV

I was stirred awake by loud obnoxious noises. I opened my eyes and saw it wasn't even daylight yet...and the dwarves where all snoring like assholes. I sat up and glared at all of them, then I noticed Bilbo was sitting up as well. I smiled and laughed waving to him, "lovely night music right?" I asked. "Oh just divine." He replied standing walking elsewhere with his bedroll. I stood up and followed him with mine in hand. "There must me some quieter place to sleep..." Bilbo said. As we walked I spotted a door slightly cracked. "I slowly pushed it open and lit I dim light in my hand. It took a while for me to realize that this was Beorns room...and it was absolutely silent. I looked and noticed that his bed was a extremely tall....plenty of room to sleep under, especially for people of Bilbo and I's size. I smiled and ran to catch Bilbo down the hall. "PST! Come here!" I said. "You need to be extremely extremely quiet." I whispered. "We're going to sleep under Beorns bed, he won't notice us, and it's quiet in there." I whispered. "What?!?! Are you insane?!" He whisper screamed. "Clearly. Now you can ether go sit with the snoring wonder team in there or you can trust me that it will be okay." I said. He looked back at the living room where the dwarves where and cringed, "a-alright. I'll take my chances with you." He said. I grinned before quietly slipping through the door...however as soon as the door creaked a lantern lit up. "Shit..." I whispered seeif Beorn sitting on the edge of his bed looking right at us. "I knew I should have gone to the wonder team!" I heard bilbo quietly cry. "H-hey!" I said nervously. "Hello, what are you two doing in here?" He asked. "Uh...well..." I said trying to think of what to say. "I assume it is the snoring?" He asked. We looked at eachOther then nodded to Beorn. He sighed, "here," he said before he lifted us up onto his bed. "You may sleep in here, I must go collect food and wood for breakfast. The sun rises soon. Rest well while you can." He said. We looked at eachOther surprised, "thank you so much! I called after the skinchanger. "It is my pleasure." He said kindly before closing the door. "That was unexpected..." Bilbo said. "Pft, no kidding, I thought he was gonna kill us." I said. "Wait...did you not have a plan for if we got caught?" Bilbo asked. I hopped my way over to one of the pillows and laid down pulling the blanket over me. "No, my plan was run." I said. "Huh, you really think things through don't you Salacia?" Bilbo said sarcastically. I shot up a thumbs up and smirked hearing his defeated sigh.

Thorin PoV

I yawned and stretched as I felt sunlight hitting my face and heard the cheerful talking of my company. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I looked around and saw most everyone was up except Ori, Bofur, Kili, and Nori. I looked at where it seemed to be everyone was for a head of blue hair. Not seeing it...I got confused, I also didn't see Bilbo ether. I stood and went into the kitchen, "where's Salacia?" I asked. Fili gave me an odd look. "Did she not come back?" He asked. "No she did, she fell asleep beside me that's how I know." I said. "She is resting in the bedroom, along with the hobbit." I heard a loud deep voice say. I turned and saw a large man, rather hairy. "They where being kept up by all of you snoring, so I gave them the quietest room in the house." I said. "Oh, would it be alright if I woke her?" I asked, he nodded in reply. I walked down the hall only to run into Bilbo, "Goodmorning, is Salacia awake?" I asked. "Goodmorning, and no. I tried." He said with a sigh. "I see. Go have breakfast, I'll handle it." I said passing him. I walked into the bedroom I saw him exit and instantly saw long blue hair hanging over the side of the bed. I grinned and climbed onto the bed. Her hair was completely covering her face. I grinned and pushed some of it out of her face, "Salacia?" I said. She grunted. "Come on, it's time to wake up," I said shaking her shoulder. "Go aaaawwwwaaaayyyy im sleeeeeepppppiiiiinnnnnggggg" she groaned rolling over on her stomach. "Come on Salacia, get up. I won't ask again." He said. "Good. Don't. Cause it won't happen." She snapped. 'So no matter what your going to be a pain in my ass from time to time?' I thought. I sighed, "Please get up." I said. She twisted to look at me, "whoa, did you just say please?!?" She said with a smile. "Yes. Please, will you?" I asked. "Awe~ no!!~" she said in an affectionate voice before turning back away. I rolled my eyes and sighed before I grabbed her, throwing her over my shoulder. "THORIN OAKENSHIELD YOU PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW!!!!" She yelled furiously banging on my back. I grinned and said nothing as I made my way to the door. "I'll bite you!!!!" She threatened, "like you would do th- AGH!!!!!!!" I was cut off as she leaned and bit down on my neck. "Damnit lass!!!" I snapped putting her down. She glared up at me and I rubbed my neck. "I told you I would." She mumbled. "You didn't need to! I was going to put you down!" I said. She looked aside the grabbed neck of my shirt yanking my face down to her height. "Don't do that ever again." She said in a strict tone, looking right in my eyes. "Fine..." I said. She glared at me before pecking my lips and letting me go. "Come on." She said as she walked off. I grinned and followed her out to the kitchen. She sat beside Bofur and Ori while I sat aside. I looked at Beorn, he was an extremely larg man...larger than elves. "So, you are the one they call Oakenshield?" Beorn asked. "Tell me, why is Azog the Defiler hunting you?" He asked. "You know of Azog?" Salacia spoke up. He nodded, "how?" I asked. "My people were the first to live in the mountains, before the Orcs came down from the north. The Defiler killed most of my family, but some he enslaved." He said. "What?! That's horrible!" Salacia said. She stood, I saw her looking at Beorn's wrists, i saw her walk onto the table, since there was absolutely no way she could get to the shackles I now noticed while on the floor. "May I?" She asked holding out her hands. Beorn looked at her oddly before holding out his arm. She placed her hands on the shackle before we all saw furious waves of electricity go through her hands before the shackle burst apart off his wrist. He looked at her wide eyed. "How...?" He asked. "Magic. The other one." She said. He gave her the other wrist and she did the same. "Someone of a race so kind does not deserve to wear something of their dark times on theme." She said looking up at him. "Now. Why did he enslave you?" She asked. "Not for work, you understand, but for sport. Caging skin-changers and torturing them seemed to amuse him." He said. I saw a angered expression on Salacias face. "Are there others like you?" Bilbo asked. "Once there where many...now there is only one." He said, none of us spoke up until Salacia. "T-they whiped out your entire race?" Salacia asked. Beorn nodded. "You need to reach the mountain before the last days of autumn?" Beorn asked as Salacia climbed off the table. "Before Durin's day falls, yes." Gandalf said. "You are running out of time." Beorn said. "Which is why we must go through Mirkwood." Gandalf said. "Ugh really?? No other way?" Salacia asked. I raised an eyebrow. "A darkness lies upon that forest. Fell things creep beneath those trees. There is an alliance between the Orcs of Moria and the Necromancer in Dol Guldur. I would not venture there except in great need." Beorn said. "T-the Necromancer?" Salacia asked. Gandalf's eyes darted to her. "Yes." Beorn said. I saw her beginning to take deep breaths before she hopped off her chair and walking toward the door. "I'm going to step outside." She said quickly leaving. "We will take the elven road. That path is safe." Gandalf said turning back to Beorn. "Safe? The Wood-Elves of Mirkwood are not like their kin. They're less wise and more dangerous. But it matters not." Beorn said. "What do you mean?" I asked.
"These lands are crawling with Orcs. Their numbers are growing, and you are on foot. You will never reach the forest alive." He said. I looked at him shocked. Suddenly he stood and looked directly at me. I stood up. "I don't like dwarves. They're greedy and blind, blind to the lives of those they deem lesser than their own." He said, I noticed he held a mouse in his hands. "But orcs I hate more. What do you need?" He said. I grinned.

While Beorn was being helped by the others to get horses, I walked out to the front to find Salacia. I found her right away, chanting to herself whilst there was a bubble of what looked like silk around her. "Salacia?" I asked. The silk instantly disappeared and she turned around. "O-oh, hey." She said scrambling weakly to her feet. "Are you alright?" I asked. Suddenly I got no reply but she hugged me tightly. I hugged her back and held her head gently against my shoulder. "You don't have to tell if if you don't want to." I said. She shook her head and looked at me. "Just...the Mirkwood Forest has always given me a really dark and sick energy." She said letting go and scoffed. "Probably because of its cruel ruler." She said. I raised an eyebrow. "You don't like King Thranduil?" I asked. She shook her head, "no. I don't. The first time I met him he told me I looked like a poor excuse for a wizard, and a worse excuse for a girl, who would never grow a chest bigger than a toddlers." She said through her gritting teeth before pointing to her rather... voluptuous chest. "DO THESE LOOK LIKE A TODDLERS CHEST?!?" She growled. I grinned and kissed her forehead. "No, they look like they chest of a stunning witch who's beauty no elf could ever hope to match up to." I said. She looked at me wideyed and blushing. "T-that's...really sweet." She said bashfully looking down. I smiled at her childish shyness. "Thorin! We're all ready to go!" Dwalin yelled from afar. Salacia looked up at me with a frown. "Do we have too?" She asked. I grinned, "yes my love, we have too." I said turning her around and ushering her towards the stable.

Once there Beorn approached us. "Lady Salacia, I do apologize but I seem to be one horse short...is there any way you'd be willing to share one with another?" He asked. "Lass!! Ye can share with me!" Bofur said happily. I looked at her, she was smiling. "Okay!!" She said before running to Bofur and grabbing his hand, pulling herself up. I mounted my horse. "Go now, while you still have the light. The hunters are not far behind." Beorn said as we all took off. I looked to my right at Salacia holding onto Bofur, her long blue hair flowing behind her. I grinned before looking forward. She was smart to choose Bofur...that way there would be no suspicions. "Gandalf!" Salacia yelled. "Yes my dear?" Gandalf replied. "Is there seriously no other way we could go that would avoid Mirkwood?!!" She asked. "No! We must go through Mirkwood. It is the fastest way." He said. Suddenly Salacia let out a loud irritated groan and nailed her forehead against Bofur's back. "I hate Mirkwood eeelllllvvvveeeeesssss!!!!!" She said. I smiled. "Hush Salacia!!" Gandalf snapped, "yes sir." She mumbled. I laughed slightly and kicked my horse to go faster, putting me at the head of the group.
