Salacia POV

I smiled at the dwarves as i dismounted. "Hello boys~!" I said happily. They all looked at me shocked. Lord Elrond dismounted behind me and placed a hand on my shoulder, "Gandalf, I've found your apprentice, you know your supposed to be keeping an eye on her." Lord Elrond said. "She was with Radagast!" Gandalf said approaching us. Lord Elrond grinned and nodded. "Mellonnen! Mo evínedh?(my friend! Where have you been?)" Gandalf asked. "Farannem 'lamhoth i udul o charad. Dagannem rim na Iant Vedui. (We've been hunting a pack of Orcs that came up from the South. We slew a number near the Hidden Pass.)" Lord Elrond said. "Strange for Orcs to come so close to our borders. Something, or someone, has drawn them near." Lord Elrond said looking down at me. I laughed nervously. "Well...that was probably us." I said. Lord Elrond then looked to Thorin knowingly. "Ah, Thorin, Son of Thrain." He said. "I do not believe we have met." Thorin said. I could feel his hatred around him. "You have your grandfather's bearing. I knew Thror when he ruled under the Mountain." Lord Elrond said. "Indeed; he made no mention of you." Thorin remarked rudely. "No need for attitude." I said looking at Thorin, who in returned looked at me shocked. I looked at Lord Elrond and then to Thorin, " Dôl gîn lost, Pe-channas! (your head is empty, idiot.)" I snapped. He looked at me in disgust, "don't you speak in that disgusting tongue to me, no less insults!" He yelled. "Pedin i phith in aníron, a nin ú-cheniathog (I can say what I wish and you will not understand me.)" I said. "How dare you!! You will pay for that" Thorin said angrily. "Ego, *mibo orch (go kiss an Orc.)" I said, causing Lord Elrond and Gandalf to laugh slightly. I turned to Lord Elrond. "Peditham hi sui vellyn? (May we speak as friends?)" I said kindly, hoping he would forgive me for my tone. "No!(yes)" he replied. I smiled kindly. "Nartho i noer, toltho i viruvor. Boe i annam vann a nethail vin. (Light the fires, bring forth the wine. We must feed our guests.)" Lord Elrond said. I smiled at his words. "What's he sayin?! Does he offer us insult!" Gloin yelled. "No! He's offering you food!" I laughed happily. "Oh...well in that case lead on." He said. I smiled. Suddenly both the brothers where at ether side of me. "Wow, so you speak elvish?" Kili asked. "Yeah! I sort of grew up with elves." I said. "You." I heard Thorins angry voice behind me. "Yes?" I asked turning. "We will be having a conversation later, have no doubt." He said darkly before walking past me. "I look forward to it!" I shouted after him. Kili and Fili laughed, "wow...quite the courage you have." Fili said. "I'm in my home territory, not much can scare me here, especially not Thorin." I said before taking each of their hands and dragging them with me. "Lady Salacia, come, we have new clothes for you." An elven maiden said to me. "Alright!" I said happily going with her. "Wait where are you doing?!?!" Fili and Kili said. "Calm down, go have fool I'll be there soon." I said.

I was given a cute short white dress that exposed my back. I calmly took off my clothes and placed them onto the bed. I was glad they offered me a bath, I needed it. I wandered to the beautiful outdoor bathtub on a private balcony. They had put nice lavender smelling bubbles which I had always done when I was here. I grinned and soaked down into the tub. The water soothes my mind, body, and soul. I held my hands up and formed a ball of water in my hand. I shaped it into a butterfly, then an eagle, then a fairy. I made them fly around the tub and into the air. I giggled as I continued my magic. "Gifted as always," I heard a voice behind me. I saw Lindir. "L-Lindir! What are you doing here??" I asked as I franticly pulled bubbles to cover my chest. "I came to say hello, and to tell you that lunch is ready." He said. "Oh, they can eat without me." I said. "Ah, alright. How are you fairing with the dwarves?" He asked. I smiled, "their lovely company!" I said happily. "Their leader did not seem to be on your good side earlier." He said. I sighed, "Thorin is just a bit thick headed with a hot temper is all. He's very kind." I said defending Thorin. "Hm, well...it is an..." He said while looking over my body covered in bubbles. "Pleasure to see you again." He said. "Yeah, you too. Now would you please give me some privacy?" I asked politely. "Of course! Enjoy your bath." He said before leaving. I watched him close the door, I used magic to lock it. "Creeper." I muttered while closing my eyes and meditating with the soothing feeling of the water, no doubt, I was rethinking my strongest elemental power...it had to be water. I was always drawn so close to it.

Shortly after my bath I got dressed...after wandering around my room naked for no reason at all. I changed the nice dress, the fabric felt cool against my skin. I asked an elf to help me with my hair...it ended up taking three elves to tame my hair that hadn't been brushed in a good was long as ever, then braid it, although the outcome was amazing. I thanked them and yawned as I went out to the balcony once again. Rivendell was always a safe and mind settling place for me. Ever since I was little the members of the white council always told me if I felt as though my mind was corrupted or my inner strength and concentration was wavering, to go to ether Rivendell or Lothlórien.

When I first went to Lothlórien, when I was a small small child, a woman named Galadriel found me wandering alone and scared. I remember her looking at me with the most awestruck expression before instantly took me into her arms as a precious child. She called me her "river child". I loved Lady Galadriel, she was like a mother to me, the only real female influence I have in my life. She is stunningly beautiful, kind, strong, and wise. She taught me to speak to plants and conjure light. When I was little she told me of how the water loved me, I used to gently sit in the water, never splash or Disturb it...just enjoyed its existence. I hadn't seen Lady Galadriel in ages since I left, when I went there by accident a whiles back she wasn't there.

I sighed, I missed her very much. I leaned over the railing and saw Some of the company at a table. I watched as words where spoken...until Bofur got on the table. I laughed and covered my mouth as I watched him sing.

"There is an inn, a merry old inn
beneath an old grey hill,
And there they brew a beer so brown
That the Man in the Moon himself came down
one night to drink his fill.
The ostler has a tipsy cat
that plays a five-stringed fiddle;
And up and down he saws his bow
Now squeaking high, now purring low,
now sawing in the middle."

All the dwarves where cheering and pounding on the table to the rhythm, I even saw Thorin tapping his foot along.

"So the cat on the fiddle played hey-diddle-diddle,
a jig that would wake the dead:
He squeaked and sawed and quickened the tune,
While the landlord shook the Man in the Moon:
'It's after three!' he said!!"

I laughed loudly and shook my head before leaving my room. I strolled slowly taking in the beautiful scenery as I walked. As I made my way back to the garden where everyone was I was stopped. "Wow, you look beautiful." I heard a familiar voice behind me. I turned around and saw Fili grinning at me. I smiled and bowed slightly, "Why thank you Prince Fili~" I said. He smiled then pulled a small bouquet of white roses from behind him. "Their for you, their not as beautiful as you...but they come close." He said lovingly. I felt my cheeks blush. "Th-thank you Fili..." I said looking down, though I felt his hand gently cup my cheek. I looked up at him without saying a word. He had that handsome grin I'd grown so accustomed too. I had then realized how close he was to me. "F-Fil-mphm" I was cut off by a gentle kiss being placed on my lips. It was no more than just a kiss, no deeper. He pulled away and smiled at me, "I'll see you at dinner?" He asked. I was stunned, "y-yes...dinner....see you." I said before scurrying off. I rounded the corner and looked back to see Fili had gone. I looked at the flowers in my hand and felt my heart absolutely pounding. "Salacia!" I heard the Kili's voice sound. I turned and set Fili's flowers on the ground around the corner so he wouldn't see them. I turned just as Kili came into sight. "Wow...you look amazing!" He said with that goofy smile. I laughed, "thanks Kili~" I said happily. He looked at me with an eyebrow raised before he took my hand and spinned me. "No really," he said stopping me. "Ye do~" he said before he pulled out a small bouquet of lillies. "For you~" he said gentlemanly. I blushed and took the flowers. He suddenly gently looked at the necklace he had given me that I still had on. "Your still wearing it?" He asked grinning. "Of course! It's so be-mmph!" I was cut off by him pulling me by my waist to him and pressing his lips to mine. I placed my hand on his shoulder and pulled away. He smiled and winked at me. "See you at dinner and maybe we could go on a walk later? It is quite beautiful here~." He said. I nodded slightly, "y-yeah, a walk sounds lovely." I said looking at him shocked, I knew I was blushing, there was no doubt. I smiled slightly as he left. As soon as he was out of sight I reached and grabbed the roses Fili had given me. I looked at the flowers in each of my hands, "what...on earth is going on?" I whispered to myself before I held the flowers to my chest and sighed. I shook my head and went back to my room, I placed each of the bouquets in their own base. My stomach suddenly growled. "Time to hunt down food while simultaneously hiding from dwarvish princes." I said before leaving down towards the garden. This was going to be a long night...I could already tell.
