Chapter 34 - Family

"DETROOOOIIITTT SMAAAAAAAAASH!" yelled Midoriya, punching Dabi so hard that the villain flew across the room. 

Y/n and Todoroki shared a collective gasp as several other familiar faces burst through the hole in the wall beside Midoriya. Denki, Kirishima, Bakugou, Mina, Jirou, Uraraka, Sero, Tsuyu... Class 1A!

"Guys?" y/n gasped.

"Ayo, sorry we're late!" Kirishima called out, waving to them.

"What are you all doing here?" Todoroki asked, trying to pull himself up to seating. Kirishima helped him up, a supporting arm around Todoroki's shoulder.

"Midoriya figured out what you guys were planning, and we wanted in too!" Mina squealed, coming up to y/n and helping her up too.

"W-what? How?" y/n demanded, looking at Midoriya.

"Oh! U-um, well, I stopped by your guys' dorm rooms to see if you were there because I was worried... and you left your door open, y/n." Midoriya began rambling. "I-I didn't mean to invade your privacy, but I saw all of your things spilled everywhere so it looked like you left in a hurry... and you left your phone behind. It kept making notification sounds a-and I just happened to see a bunch of messages from Mr. Aizawa, saying that the rescue operation was going to happen tonight downtown-"

"What Midoriya means, is that we figured that you guys were the type to take matters into your own hands, so we tracked you to here, ribbit." Tsuyu explained. 

"Yep!" Jirou grinned. 

"BUT DON'T FLATTER YOURSELVES, NERDS!" Bakugou growled, kicking away bricks as if they were pebbles. "IT'S WHAT ANYONE EVEN TRYING TO BECOME A GODDAMN HERO WOULD DO."

Y/n smiled at her classmates, touched by their effort.

"You guys..." she said, her eyes watering up.

"Are in BIG trouble." suddenly said a low voice behind everyone. Aizawa appeared, walking up to y/n and Todoroki with a serious glare, pulling down his quirk goggles. "Especially you two."

"I guess we all are!" Denki chuckled lightly, the teacher glaring angrily at the class.

"Wait, where's the villain guy?" Sero asked. Everyone turned to look at the other side of the wall, where Dabi lay still.

"I think he's out cold-"

Suddenly, Dabi lifted his hand and shot out a torrent of blue flames in the young heroes' direction. Before anyone could react, Aizawa wrapped everyone with pieces of his long scarf and threw them all behind him, his black hair blazing and eyes going red as his quirk activated.

Y/n yelled out as she was launched into the air, falling uncontrollably from the third floor of the warehouse. Just as the ground seemed imminent, y/n felt herself suddenly stop mid-air, floating. She turned to see Uraraka, holding the ends of all of the parts of the scarf, allowing her to float everyone. The brown-haired girl lowered her classmates down safely to the ground.

"Wow, thank you Uraraka!" Midoriya cheered, making Uraraka go a little red. 

"You're welcome, Deku..." she smiled shyly, Midoriya blushing hard.

"Kids! Make your way to the other side of the street!" Midnight instructed, appearing from the battle and cracking her whip in the air.

"Yes, Ms. Midnight!" replied several voices from Class 1-A.

Y/n looked over at Todoroki and hobbled over to him, grabbing his hand firmly. He looked back at her and smiled, kissing her forehead as he brought her close.
