PETE

Monday morning traffic was as usual hell to go through, this is why I hate morning classes. And just my luck, there's no longer vacant parking spot near Business Administration Building.

Driving around the campus and I found a parking spot near the cafeteria of Engineering Building, hopefully no weekly brawls will happen this early in the week and damage my car. Engineering boys are famous with their weekly fights, I think sometimes they just make a big deal of small things so that they'll have a fist fight.

"Pete!" I look behind me when I heard someone calling my name.

"Yes?" The girl with a Liza's like bangs, yes I know blank pink, I don't live under a rock, beamed at me when she neared me. Looking at the pin at the collar of her white uniform, she's from engineering.

"The names Kim. I like you. Can we go out sometimes?" She said, without even waiting for me to acknowledge her name.

Seriously, why are engineering girls so straight forward.

"That's nice, but I don't like to have any issues with your seniors. Sorry." I excused myself after saying that and continue walking to Business Administration Building, leaving the stunned girl behind. If they can be that blunt why can't I, right?

It's not that I'm not interested, that girl Kim is pretty with very striking features, but once the relationship didn't work out as she like it to be and cried her eyes out to her seniors, I'm dead meat. I don't know why they are way overprotective with their pack. Ugh, why am I using wolf reference with these people.

"Here's part of my report." After putting my things down on the table, I got the thumb drive from my bag, pushed it in front of Sandee and take my sit in front of her in one of many tables and chairs scattered around the Business Ad Building.

"Good morning to you too." Sandee sarcastically greet me, "Just make sure this is perfect, I don't have time to edit your work."

"When did I ever submitted anything but perfect." I smugly answered her, and she just rolled her eyes at me as she got the thumb drive I gave her.

Well its true, Pete Phubodin always strive for perfection or my parents would nag me to death. I love my parents I do with all my being. But sometimes I wish they just gave me some sibling so not all their focus is on me.

I think it is also the reason I always strive to be the best on all things I do, being the only child and heir to their supposedly huge empire, everyone thinks that everything is handed to me in silver platter. But it's the opposite, they never spoil me. I worked hard in everything I have. Yes, I know that I have all the opportunities, that is why I'm using all those openings handed to me.

Whoever said that being rich means getting everything without even lifting your finger, its far worse than what everyone thinks.

I was scrolling through the stock market website on my phone when a bag landed beside me and not long after I hear the sleep deprive voice of Sixto, Sandee's twin brother.

"Why didn't you wake me up? You even get the car!" Sixto complained to Sandee before falling on the seat next to me and burying his face on his arms.

"Ha! I did and you just cursed at me." Sandee rebutted to her twin without looking away from her laptop. "And a little commute will not kill you."

"Can you at least buy me some coffee?" Sixto whined more before peeking over my shoulder to look at my phone. "Pete!? Really!? Stock trend early this morning?"

"Go buy yourself a coffee and stop minding whatever I'm doing." I say as I gave him some cash for coffee. "I really can't imagine how you and Sandee are twins." I continued while contemplating if I should sell some of my stocks to buy a new one that looks promising.
