PETE

"Finish your dessert so we can go." Sylas instructed his sister. We are all finish eating except Safia and Kao. I see Kao stop midway of putting a piece of the chocolate decadent cake he and Safia are both having, to his open mouth.

Me and Sylas didn't have any dessert while the twins shared a slice, so we were done eating before them.

"Let them be. It still going to be hot anyway, if we go at the archery place now." Sandee counters his brother while Safia just stick out her tongue to Sylas before continuing eating her dessert.

I nudge Kao to tell him to continue too, as Sandee started a new topic to discuss with his impatient brother.

After twenty-minutes, Sylas insisted to pay the bill in full even I already said before that I will be shouldering half of it. I compromised that I'll just pay for our archery game later.

"I'll ride with you, Pete." Safia announces as we are walking out of the restaurant. I was about to say no when Kao subtly signals me to just let her.

Tsk. I'm planning to at least have one hot make out session with Kao, not possible now with the brat riding with us.

"It's going be so much fun. I miss doing all these activities, when I'm abroad all I do is study, but I really want to be a doctor." Safia blurted out as she leans forward in the middle of our seat as she tries to talk to Kao.

"I'm sure you will, as long as you like it and you're happy to what you are pursuing you will be surely successful." Kao answers her back with his usual sunny smile.

"Safia, can you please sit properly. We can hear you just fine even if you're at the back." I say but didn't remove my eyes on the road, I just heard Kao giggles on the shot gun seat before I hear Safia huffed while sitting back properly at the back.

The two continued to talk on the twenty-minute drive to the archery place. We arrive first at the place while Sylas and the twins only a few minutes behind us.

Safia is all jumping and excited when she steps out of the car and walk to the entrance of the archery place, she is about to grab Kao's arms when I raised my eyebrow at her. She rolled her eyes at me, but she did stop reaching for Kao, just wave her hand to gesture for him to follow her. Good girl.

I let Kao and Safia enter first, me just a few step behind them. We went straight to the counter to register and get the equipment's that we will be using. I chose the beginner bow for Kao, and then also get my usual bow type but I doubt I'll be able to play properly, all my attention will be on teaching Kao.

In just a few minutes we already started, each of us get a place to play but I choose to share the space with Kao. I will just play when he is done.

You know I really do adore Kao very much but his aim, is like really bad.

"Can I just watch you?" He asks when for the third time he didn't even hit the outermost circle of the target.

"Tsk. You're so lame at this." I commented, looking sadly at where he hit his arrows.

"Oi Pete." He pouted. "Maybe if Safia's the one who'll teach me, I can do it better."

"Maybe." I sneered. "But we will never know. You stay here with me as I play, that girl will be all over you." I glance at where Safia is and I can't help but smirk when she missed the target.

"You think too much, she's just teasing you." Kao says as he puts down his equipment and pick up mine.

"I know, but I still don't like it." He passes me the bow and arrow and gesture me to do my thing.
