"Pete, I want the cookie." I pouted at him, he just looks at me and push the banana nearer to me. My supposed to be dessert for the day.

We just finished eating lunch at the Business Ad cafeteria with Sixto and Sandee, the twins are just looking at us arguing about dessert. I wanted to buy a cookie, but Pete is adamant to let me have the banana he bought instead. We are going at it for like more than five minutes already.

"Uh, Kao can have my cookie in exchange of the banana." Sandee, who I think is now sick of hearing the two of us arguing, offered.

"No." Answer Pete when I was about to say yes to Sandee's offer.

Pete then suddenly smirked before saying, "If you want the cookie..." he paused and give me a knowing look.

I blinked a few times before I get what he was implying.

"Hahaha, you know what banana is good for my muscles, you know potassium." I forced out a laugh while glaring at Pete, picking up the banana and started eating it while the twins just give us both bewildered looks.

I was getting ready to leave when I ask Pete, "Your last class will finish at seven, right?" He nodded as we start to get up, they also have class in a few minutes. "Do you want to get dinner together?"

"Not that I don't want to, but isn't your class only until five later?" He asks.

"I'll be reviewing and practicing for my upcoming final defense, so I'll stay at campus." I love the kids but sometimes they are to rowdy that I can't concentrate on what I'm doing.

"Sure, I'll get you at the Engineering student lounge?" I nodded my head and then look at Sixto and Sandee who are looking back and forth to me and Pete, eyes blinking rapidly.

"Uhh, you too Sixto, Sandee you want to come with us?" I invited them too.

"Ye.." Sandee covered Sixto's mouth before he can finish what he was saying.

"Mom and Dad will be expecting us for diner later, you two just enjoy." Sandee says as she slowly removes her hands from his brothers' face.

"Really?" Sixto look at Sandee, I then see Sandee's hand discreetly pinching her brothers' side.

"Ouch!" Sixto glared at his sister and Sandee just glared back at him. "Fine, fine. We'll join you next time." He finally said to answer my invite.

"Okay, next time." I smiled at him, now bag on my shoulder and ready to leave. "I need to go. Bye." I gave the twins a wave goodbye, before looking at Pete, "I'll see you later." He just smiled at me as his reply.

The afternoon class went by as usual, we did have one short quiz but it was alright. At quarter past five, I'm already sitting in front of one of the tables at the Engineering student lounge, James already went home after our last class.

I'm just reading through my thesis again, thinking of what possible questions the panel will ask me, I list it down one by one and then I plan to check it in the internet later if not I need to go to the library maybe by tomorrow or Wednesday.

A few minutes after six, Matt sat down at the seat in front of me. "Hey Kao, I thought you have an early out today?" Matt ask, putting down his bag at the seat beside him.

"Yeah, I'm just reading through my thesis again, I want to get ready for my final defense this Friday." I answered him, just looking at him for a few seconds to greet him before getting my attention back to what I'm reading.
