"I love you too."

It is the sincerest words I've ever uttered. I imagined confessing my love for him in a romantic setting with dinners and flowers, but this is also perfect. Him telling me he loves me in the most random moment, I didn't expect it to feel this special.

Realizing my true feelings for him is not really that hard, I know I like him from the start but the love? It was a gradual realization by just wanting to always be with him, seeing him happy, those cute pouts he gives me. The comfort and satisfaction that I feel just by being with him and seeing his beaming smile.

I extended my arms, enveloping his face in between the palm of my hand before capturing his lips with mine.

He tasted extra sweet now, I don't know if it because of the I love you's we exchange or the chocolate cake he just eaten.

I was about to deepen the kiss when I heard something hit the wooden floor of the café. Slowly releasing Kao's face from my hold, we both turn our head to look at where the sound came from.

A girl, I think in her late teens, is in front of our table looking at us eyes wide, mouth agape.

"Yes?" I ask, feeling annoyed that she interrupted our kiss.

"I.." She opened her mouth but cannot finish what she is about to say.

The girl is, I think, still trying to compose herself when Kao get up and pick up something from the floor.

I look at him frowning before I finally see what it is, a phone. He gingerly gives it back to the girl who takes it immediately.

The girl then suddenly bowed her head.

"I'm sorry I didn't know you two are together." She then hurriedly turned back and run to the other side of the café where two more girls her age are sitting having some drinks.

"I think she was about to ask for your number." Kao says as he sits back beside me.

"Tsk so bothersome." I muttered as I drink my coffee again.

"Haha, they can't help it. You're just too handsome."

"You're not even slightly worried about it?" I raised my eyebrow at Kao who is now back at eating the chocolate cake.

"Why would I be? I just met your parents and we just exchange I love you's for the first time and you kissed me inside a busy café." He casually says with a shrug of his shoulder.

"Ohoo so confident. Where was my little scared boyfriend when we step inside the restaurant earlier? And who is that guy who keeps hitting me for telling my parents that he is my boyfriend?" I teased him. Confident Kao is a site to see but I like my easily flustered boyfriend more.

"Oii Pete don't remind me of that." And there you go the red tint on his cheeks when he feels embarrassed about something.

"So easily flustered." I pinched his cheeks as he just pouts at me, I shook my head before diving into new topic. "In which beach resort Lily's birthday going to be held?"

"I think the name is Sunny's but I'll confirm it with her tomorrow." He answers back.

"Did she already make reservation? Are there many people coming?" I continued to ask, wanting to know the details of the trip.

"I'm not sure, I think some of her Mechanical batchmates will go."

"Confirm to her the place so I can make a room reservation for the two of us." He looks at me a little puzzled.
