Magic training (Auklet X Reader)

Animus! Auklet X Female! Animus! Rainwing! Reader

A/n: Auklet is older in this oneshot so no, uh.. weird gross stuff. You know... Like just now Auklet is Moon's age in Moon rising (So like about 4?) And you guys are around the same age.
Also, Auklet is a animus in this oneshot but, it's not canon so no spoilers.
Another thing, Your scales are a Light sunflower yellow and a muted purple around your wings and down to your tail. Kinda like Kinkajou in a way. (Sorry if your scales are different)

♧ (R/w/n)'s POV ♧

I was peacefully climbing a tree when one of Queen Glory's guards told me that she wanted to speak with me. I sighed as a launched myself from the tree and landed on the ground.

I followed the guard as she guided me to my queen. The queen was sitting on her platform. She nodded slightly as she spotted me.

When I landed in front of her, she thanked her Nightwing guard and dismissed her. She looked back at me with her greenish blue eyes (It's different in the graphic novel and books so it's both here).
" So (R/w/n), You are the only known animus in the Rainwing tribe, correct?", She asked. I was confused but I nodded.
" Good, Since Queen Coral has asked you to help train her daughter, Princess Auklet ", She stated.
I gasp, " Really? Is she flying towards us? "
Queen Glory nodded, " Yep, She will arrive in a about 1 to 2 days since she will have to take stops "
My scales grew to a lighter and brighter yellow as I got excited.
" I expect the best from you, (R/w/n). If you can promise me your best, you are dismissed ", She said with her royalty voice.
I nodded and flew off.

I am so excited. I was chosen specifically for this job. I get to train a Seawing princess. Not just a normal Seawing, Seawing Royalty. Jeez, I sure do feel special.

- Timeskip -

I was sitting on the platform next to Queen Glory on her right. Deathbringer was on her left like the bodyguard he was. Queen Coral swooped into the canopy. She had two guards and the princess with her. The princess was a beautiful shade of green.

The four Seawings landed gracefully onto the Platform. The princess was looking at me curiously. Then, Queen Glory introduced me.
" So, Can I go met her? ", Auklet asked her mother.
" Yes but, you must be VERY careful. If you get hurt in any way, go see the healers. I'll stay here for a night but, in the morning I have to return to the palace. I'll come to retrieve you in about a week after I leave. ", Queen Coral stated.
Auklet nodded and came over to me.
" Hello, You must be (R/w/n) I presume? ", She asked.
I nodded.
" Queen Glory, Could I start some training now? ", I asked my Queen.
" Yes but, Stay close. ", Glory answered.
Auklet smiled at me and I returned that smile.

The princess and I flew to a thick tree nearby. Here I started the training.

- Timeskip -

After some small training, I started to get hungry. I luckily found a tree with (F/f) growing there. I smiled and I picked some. I landed next to Auklet.
" Would you like some? ", I offered.
" What is it? ", She asked.
" (F/f) ", I answered.
" Sure, I'd like to give it a try ", She said as she took one. I watched as she ate it. Her expressions changed as she ate. And she swallowed it.
" Sooooo..? ", I asked.
" That's was.. Um... Different? ", She answered with slightly uncertainty in her voice. I giggled at her. She looked at me with a confused expression then playfully smirked.
" Who you laughing at? ", She playfully teased. She smirked as I just giggled more. Auklet crouched down for a moment then launched herself towards me.

We played for a while after that. Only to be stopped by Queen Coral. She eyed Auklet and I with a slightly angred face, Mostly Auklet. Well, We were both covered in mud after all.
" Auklet! Why are you covered in filth!? ", She sternly demeaned.
" I was playing with (R/w/n) here ", Auklet answered while looking into my (E/c) eyes.
" Well, I order you to clean yourself up. You need to sleep and I need to make sure that you are safe before I sleep. ", Coral demanded as she flew off.
Auklet signed and looked at me again.
" Well, Let's go clean ourselves up ", She said as she gestured me to guide her to water.

- Small Timeskip -

After we cleaned ourselves, Auklet waved goodbye as she flew to her special hut with her mother. She sighed and smiled. She was certainly cute. I turned myself around and climbed up a tree, resting on the sturdy yet soft hammock.

- Next morning -

I yawned as I stretched my muscles. Small snaps of bones could be heard. Then I shook myself to awake fully.

I took off to find Auklet. I spotted her sitting on the platform of her special hut looking up at the canopy. I landed softly as to not scare her.
" So, Whatcha looking at? ", I asked her as I looked in the direction she was.
" My mother just left. I was just watching her leave. Well, You ready for some more training? ", Auklet sighed then excitedly asked.
I nodded with my scales turning very bright yellow with a barely noticeable spots of pink. I think I'm starting to get attached.

- A week Timeskip -

♤ 3rd Person POV ♤

Auklet signed as her mother returned to retrieve her from her training.
" Hold on mother, I need to do something before I go, I'll be right back. ", Auklet said as she flew off.

Auklet's deep green eyes scanned over the tops of the trees. She looked for the female Rainwing she trained with. Finally, She spotted her. Auklet found her peacefully sleeping in her hammock. Auklet sighed lovingly at the sight but sadly, she had to wake (R/w/n) up so she could leave. She lightly shook (R/w/n). The Rainwing stirred in her sleep.

" Come on ", Auklet growled quietly to the Rainwing. Finally, the Rainwing opened her (E/c) eyes.
" Hmm... Auklet? Why did you wake me? ", (R/w/n) sleepily asked.
" My mother has returned and I have to leave but I wanted to do something before I left ", Auklet answered. (R/w/n) just blinked and waited for her.
" I need you to lift up your head for me ", Auklet ordered. (R/w/n) obeyed.

Before (R/w/n) could process, Auklet quickly kissed her on the cheek. (R/w/n)'s scales quickly turned into a strong hot pink. She aggressively blinked at Auklet. Auklet laughed at her wild expression. Then before (R/w/n) could begin to respond again, Auklet flew off to her mother to leave.

' I think I've got attached to something other than a harness ', Auklet thought.
