◇ (I/n)'s POV ◇

I smiled at my husband who was flying next to me. We've been married for about a month now. It's been kinda of a secret though, I've only told Sunny so far.

Anyways, Me, my husband, and my fellow dragonets of destiny are flying towards the Rainforest and meeting up with Glory and the other queens of Prryhia. I've already braced myself for Glory's reaction to Darkstalker. I'm not sure if anyone's told her yet but I'm ready for her.

I smile as the Rainforest comes into view. As we got into the Rainforest, Jambu decided to guide us to where the meeting is. When we arrive, Glory, Queen Moorhen and Queen Coral are already here. Now, We wait for the other queens to arrive.

- Timeskip -

All the queens have arrived and we are all in the middle of the meeting. Also, I've seen Queen Snowfall glance at me and Darkstalker a couple of times as well. That makes me uncomfortable.

Suddenly, We were on the topic of the NightWings for some reason. Then, Fatespeaker decided to speak up.
" Well, Darkstalker and (I/n) are married so- ", She started. Sunny poked her side slightly.
" I thought I told you to keep it a secret ", Sunny whisper-yelled to Fatespeaker.
" I'm sorry. ", Fatespeaker whispered back. Queen Snowfall was the first to get angry. Like extremely angry as if she could breath fire like some other tribes.

My icicles on my head and neck pricked upwards in alarm due to all the yelling between almost everyone. Darkstalker was trying to comfort me and calm down everyone else at the same time.

Suddenly, I felt a ripping pain on my neck and underbelly. I looked down and there was a massive slash that went from my neck to my underbelly. Blue blood dripped down my body and onto the forest floor. Some splattered onto the table, staining it a blue shade. My vision got blurry and my mind got all fuzzy. However, I saw Darkstalker kill a SandWing in my daze.

Quickly everything was consumed in darkness.

♤ 3rd person POV ♤

After (I/n) passed out, Darkstalker frantically flew as fast as he could to the healer hut with (I/n) in his talons. When he finally arrived, the two RainWing healers streaked their scales with pale green. However, Hope was there and quickly took (I/n) from Darkstalker. She quickly tried to treat him.

Darkstalker glanced at his blood stained talons. Tears dripped down his face into them. He was very upset that the nameless SandWing hurt (I/n). Darkstalker also knew that the SandWing wasn't sent by Thorn which he was grateful that she was trustworthy.

Darkstalker's breaths became fast and the others tried to calm him down with no luck. After (I/n) was fully treated, Hope grabbed Darkstalker by his face.
" Son, Look at me. ", She stated. Darkstalker's icy blue iris went into Hope's direction, making eye contact.
" (I/n) will be fine. He just needs to rest. This wasn't your fault. You didn't do anything wrong, dear. ", She reassured him and gave him a peck on the forehead.
" Ok mother, I'll believe you ", Darkstalker said. Everyone else sighed in relief.

◇ (I/n)'s POV ◇

I groaned as I softly opened my (E/c) eyes. The morning sunlight trickled into my eyes, waking me up further. I look over on my left to see Darkstalker. He was anxiously tapping his claws on the floor and he was looking out the window. He turned over to me and noticed that I was awake. He smiled and came over to me. He gave me a peck on the forehead. Then, he pulled away and gave me a saddened happy look.
" I'm sorry that I couldn't save you in time. I could've prevented this whole thing if I was fast enough. ", He apologized.
" It wasn't your fault, my love. And besides I love you anyway ", I reassured him. He smiled at me and chuckled.
" Aren't you just a ray of sunshine? Well, I could definitely see it by your dazzling (S/c) scales ~ ", He teased.
" Now, Aren't you flirty ~ ", I teased back. We both laughed.
