☆ (S/n)'s POV ☆

I was sitting with the Jade winglet. We were all in the Prey center. Winter was arguing with almost his whole winglet as usual, mostly Qibli and Moon. I don't really remember what they were arguing about. Mostly since I was spaced out.

Then suddenly, Winter picked himself up and walked towards the exit. He gazed at me for a few moments before officially leaving to somewhere. I was confused why he looked at me and not glared at me or his winglet.

But, I decided not to question that at the moment. I flicked a piece of (F/m) into my mouth. While I was chewing, Qibli looked at me and smirked. I gave him a confused look.
" I believe he likes you, your majesty ~ ", Qibli teased.
I nearly choked on my (F/m).
" W-what!? ", I yelped.
" Wasn't a little bit obvious? Even the smallest gestures he made were obvious. ", Moon explained.
" What gestures? ", I asked.
Kinkajou looked at me intensely and her scales shaded themselves with deep red and bright yellow.
" What gestures?! Do you not recognize them? He acts nicer towards you than anyone else! Like he tries not to snap at you sometimes and he instantly snaps on us all the time! ", She hissed at me (no magical death spit tho-).

I didn't saying anything else and started to think about it.

He has been nicer to me. He doesn't even threaten to slice my face off anymore. And he threatens other dragons like that all the time. That is suspicious. How did I actually not see this before? I mentally facepalm. So, Should I confront him about it? Yeah, I think I should.

I quickly ate the rest of my (F/m) and started for the exit. I then heard Kinkajou shout, " Yeah, Go chase the man of your dreams! ".
I chuckle at that.

Before I went to Winter's sleeping cave, I went to my own.

I opened a drawer in a small table that was in my room. I shifted through my small horde of treasures. I found a silver sapphire necklace. This would look perfect on him. I grinned at the thought of him wearing it. I shook my head aggressively to shake the fantasies away.

I also grabbed a small leather pouch that I used rarely. I put the necklace into it. Then, I set on course for Winter's sleeping cave.

- Small Timeskip -

I peered in the cave opening. I spotted Winter curled up on his bed and turned towards the wall. I took a step to the cave. Winter sighed deeply.
" Go away, Qibli. ", Winter ordered while still turned.
I took another few steps.
" I SAID GO AWA- ", He snapped his neck to look directly at me but then, He stopped. He calmed himself as he stared into my (E/c) eyes for a moment.
" Oh, It's you.. ", He mumbled and looked away.
I walked a little closer with the leather pouch in one talon.
" Hmm? ", He questioned as I handed it over to him.
" Open it. There's a small surprise for you in there ", I said with a wink.
His ice blue scales glowed a deeper blue as he opened it. He held the necklace in his talons. He gazed upon it for a few moments, tilting it in different directions then smiling as he put it on.

I was right. He does look absolutely divine with that around his neck. It will shimmer with his scales. I was then brought out of my thoughts by Winter himself.
" Thank you ", He said with a tiny voice. I smiled at him. Then, I assume a thought popped into his mind. He started to look around the room. Then, He came back to me with a small box.
" I um.. actually got a present for you too ", He mumbled as he handed the box to me. I carefully opened the box with my talons. Inside was a shiny gold armband which was similar to Turtle's but had (F/g) instead of skyfire. I put it on instantly. It went well with my scales. I looked back up to see a nervous looking Winter.
" So, Do you like it? ", He questioned.
I just stepped closer to him and cuddled into his chin. I could feel his cold scales getting a bit warmer. I then pulled away and give him a peck on the cheek. He froze for a bit (Haha IceWing).

I walked over and layed in his bed. He looked at me confused but, he eventually figured it out. He got into the bed and then draped his left wing over me.

This was a great and cozy feeling ♡.
