☆ 3rd person POV ☆

(S/n) swam with Webs towards the summer palace. Little did the two SeaWings know that Crocodile was following them, slowly yet surely.
' Haha. These fools! ', Crocodile's mind snickered as she followed them. Crocodile's mind barked off about her promotion that she would receive if she did this correctly.

- Timeskip -

Fire burned over the summer palace. SkyWings and MudWings flooded the sky. Screams filled the air. SeaWings poured out of the Summer palace. However, (S/n) was stuck in the palace. Quickly, Crocodile found her and cornered her.

" Crocodile! I'm glad you've come for me. Now, let's get out of here! ", (S/n) exclaimed.
" Oh no, not so fast ~ ", Crocodile teased.
The (s/c) SeaWing's (e/c) widened at that statement.
" What!? What do you mean? We got to leave? ", (S/n) asked with a hint of worry in her voice.
" You're not going anywhere ~ ", Crocodile cooed.

(S/n) blinked with wide eyes as questions filled her mind. Her (s/c) talons shifted her backward a bit in response. Her claws were tense as the air began to feel heavy. Crocodile only smirked and stepped closer to the nervous (s/c) SeaWing.

" I've taken a liking to you, SeaWing. I'm not even sure why at this point. You were a fool to trust me, but now I'm a fool for getting attached. ", Crocodile confessed, looking deep into (S/n)'s (e/c) eyes.
" What? ", (S/n) whispered, her voice choked. (S/n)'s mind was running wild as she listened to the MudWing traitor in front of her.
" A beautiful fool. I've followed you and this palace into flames. You're such an idiot. Even though, I believe the Talons of Peace is absolutely pitiful and stupid, you've caught my eye. ", Crocodile admitted.
' You traitor! ', (S/n)'s mind screamed, but no words escaped her mouth.

Suddenly, Crocodile extended her brown talons towards (S/n). The SeaWing looked at it with a confused and enraged expression for a moment, then her (e/c) shifted back to the brown MudWing.
" Come with me, (S/n). I'll led you out safely. I will hide you from any harm. When Burn wins the war and I get my promotion, I will shower and pamper you with our riches. We will be wealthy together. You and me. Lovers with nothing to lose. Please let me love you. Let me lead you along our new journey together. ", Crocodile offered.

(S/n) blinked in surprise at Crocodile. She wasn't excepting those things coming from the scarred and tough looking MudWing. Even the offer sounded quite nice to (S/n). She was even going to consider it.

She hated this war. (S/n) had lost other dragons she had cared for in the massive battles. Some even perished right in front of her. She wanted no more. She thought of the tiny dragonets and how they would feel if one of their parents had perished in front of them. She didn't want anyone to be hurt the same way that she had been.

However, (S/n) thought if Burn had won the war. What would the brute SandWing do after she had become queen? Burn loved fighting. Many dragons would agree that Burn would just continue the war for her own enjoyment. (S/n) didn't want that. Even if Burn wouldn't, (S/n) didn't want to risk the chance. (S/n) wanted the fight to end, not continue.

(S/n)'s heart strings tensed as she took the risk. Then, she opened her mouth to speak her mind.
" I'm sorry, Crocodile. But I will have to decline. I have trusted you and you betrayed me. I'm sure you are a wonderful dragon deep down, but I will have to not see that side of you. Burn will continue the war and I do not wish for it. Plus, you have brought suffering to this palace, the very thing I'm against. I do love you, or at least I thought I did. I would've loved to live with you and be yours, however I just can't do that if you bring violence to others. I apologize, but this is my decision. ", (S/n) confessed with a snarl in her voice.
(S/n) pushed Crocodile's talon as she told the MudWing off.

Crocodile's eyes widened, but then a burst of anger shot through her. Crocodile allowed the anger to take over her body like a puppet on strings. She roared in (S/n)'s face and clawed the (s/c) SeaWing's cheek, causing to stain her talon in blood. Crocodile was about to maul (S/n) to bits when someone shout out.

" (S/n)! ", Webs cried as he spotted his friend with Crocodile.
Glory was with him as well. She hissed at Crocodile.
" She did this! She lead the MudWings and SkyWings to the palace! ", (S/n) spat with venom in her voice.
The dragons gasped and Glory started to growl, baring her fangs.
" You! You stitch! ", Crocodile roared at (S/n).
Suddenly, a loud hissed could be heard and Crocodile twisted her head in that direction. Quickly, Crocodile's vision was covered in black. Pain surged through her face and she started to thrash about, trying to see again. She was picked up and thrown outside, blasting into the water. Venom and blood started to contaminate the water. Crocodile yelled as she sank into the deep blue. Bubbles escaped the MudWing's mouth and her muscles weakened.

(S/n) and the others watched from above. They quickly flew away from the scene. However, (S/n) looked back with a wave of pity in her (e/c) eyes. As she looked at Crocodile, tears filled her eyes, fogging her vision. She blinked, allowing tears to slide across her (s/c) face.
' I'm so sorry. ', She told Crocodile mentally.
(S/n) soon faded away from the vision of the Summer palace, with more guilt than before.
