Luke
"Just open the fucking box!" Calum yells angrily at me as I try my best to ignore him.
For the last half an hour he has been yelling at me for not going through the stuff Karlie dropped of earlier yet. I guess it's because if I start sorting things out that means it really is over. We really are finished. I caused it. It's all my fault and I'm not even brave enough to face the fact that it's over.
"Luke," Calum says and rips the headphones of me. I flinch forward worried he might attack me again. "Just go through the box, it's annoying me."
"You don't get it." I look over my shoulder at him.
Calum lets out a huge fake laugh and roughly pats my shoulder, making me lurch forward. "Yeah, sure!" He says sarcastically. "I don't get it. I don't get how you could just turn around to a girl you have been dating since you were basically a toddler and say 'no, I don't want you anymore. I don't want you or our baby'. You're right Luke," Calum says bitterly. "I don't get it."
"You think I feel good about this?" I turn around and stand up against Calum. "You think I like that I've caused this?"
"Luke," Calum yells with exsaperation. "Guess what? You didn't have to do this! You had a choice!"
"I know!" I yell back.
"So what the fuck is wrong with you?!"
"I can't do it!" I scream at Calum. "I just can't fucking do it!"
"Stop being such a fucking pussy, man up and take responsability for your actions!" Calum shoves me hard so I fall back against the desk. I couldn't be bothered with another fight with Calum.
"Whatever." I mumble to him, turning back around and sitting down at the desk again and focusing back on my paper for my class.
Calum scoffs behind me and I just choice not to turn around. He'll leave me alone after a while. He just needs to cool down.
"Now," I hear Calum sigh. "Let's see." I hear tape being ripped of something and quickly spin around in the chair to see Calum with the box of my stiff from Karlie on the coffe table, him opening it for me.
"What are you doing?" I spit at him. How dare he think he can just fucking do that.
"What does it look like?" Calum throws the used tape over his shoulder and begins to go through the box.
I stand up abruptly. "Stop it."
"Oh, okay," calum laughs and shakes his head. "First thing we have is a beanie." He picks up a gray beanie I let Karlie borrow when we went to the beach together and she started complaing about how her hair got wet, so I let her use it to hide her hair because it was so bad. I thought her hair looked nice. The memory makes me smile slightly because she had no idea why I would bring a beanie to the beach, and I said it was in case on emergencies like that.
"I've been looking for this." Calum puts the beanie on his head and I suddenly remember it was actually Calum's beanie that I borrowed from him that day without asking. "What else?" Calum digs around the box. "Jesus, Luke!" Calum exclaims. "I know get why you are always taking me and Mikey's clothes. How much did you keep at Karlie's house."
I just shrug in response. Calum was mocking me and trying to get under my skin. I wasn't going to sink to his level.
"Wow!" Calum coos. "Look at this necklace!" Calum pulls out a chain necklace I had specially made for Karlie. The charm on it is actually a steel guitar pick with our initials on it. I gave it to Karlie when I finished teching her guitar as sort of a 'well done' present. She would never take it off.
