So I'm pissed at Michael.
He so thoughtless and I hate him. Well, I don't hate him. I love him a lot but I can't believe he would do this to me. Not only has he still not cleaned his laundry but he has also completely forgotten about my sonogram today. It's an important one. It was the first ultrasound of my second trimester and I can't believe he wasn't even in the house.
I woke up thinking he woul dbe sleeping right next to me and he just wasn't there. So when I went in to the the living room I just assumed I would find him there but no, he wasn't. That's when I saw the not left on the coffee table.
Morning babe!
I'm running to Calum's this morning before work. He needs help or something idk it's Calum. I'll call you around lunch and see you when I get home later. Have a great day!
-Mikey
P.S. can you make burgers for dinner? That'd be great!
I was so mad when I read the note. What could be more important than his child's ultrasound? How could you even just forget about an ultrasound. That's so stupid and so irresponsible and Michael better be at the hospital this morning or else blood will be drawn.
"Morning," I hear Mia say as she walks in, fully dressed and ready for the day. I was the opposite. I still had to put on clothes and do my hair. I was just a mess this morning and my mood was making me feel worse.
"Hey," I grumble back, getting out another mug for Mia.
"You okay?" Mia says hesitantly.
I just scoff and slide the note and mug of coffee over the bunker to her. Mia raises her eyebrow at the note and carefully picks it up. I sip at my coffee trying to remember if I can even have it and watch Mia read over the note.
She puts it down and picks up her cup. "I'm guessing you guys had plans today?"
"Yep," I chirps back. "I have an ultrasound this morning."
"Oh shit." Mia eyes widen.
"Yeah, oh shit." I grumble and rub my eyes out of a mix of tiredness and frustration.
"What're you going to do?"
"Well I still need to go." I fold my arms over my chest. "I can't believe this. I can't believe him."
"Guys are stupid." Mia says to me. "They forget stuff. He didn't mean to."
"I know, I know." I shake my head. "But how could he just forget? You know, It's his child, how could he just forget that?"
"I repeat," Mia sighs. "Guys are stupid."
"This stupid though?" I grimace.
"Yes." Mia says with a huge air of certaintity. "This stupid."
I think about Mia's words for a second before biting my lip and saying hesitantly, "So are you and Ashton still not okay? You know after what happened before Luke crashed his car?"
Mia rolls her eyes. "We're fine I'm just... I need distance. And things were obviously going to change between us once Sophie arrived and I know Ashton needs to know how to be a dad before he worries about me."
"So are you guys done?" I was ready to burst in to tears if they were finished. Maybe it was just the pregnancy hormones or something.
"No." Thank fuck! "I just think we should prioritize our lives right now. His main priority is Sophie, then maybe school. Mines should be work and... yeah work."
