He turned to the other two boys as the call ended and looked at them apologetically.

"Sorry guys. That was Even. He wants me back at the house for something", Jonah explained.

"Uh. That's the thing. I can't", Jonah answered sheepishly."Eb wants me to stay for date night".

"Oh", Jack said."It's cool then. Go be with your boyfriend. He's probably missed you a lot today".

"Yeah. Thanks", Jonah said giving him a hug.

"So, you want us to drop you off?", Corbyn asked the oldest.

"No. Event's car is waiting for me outside", Jonah said.

"Right", Corbyn nodded smiling.

"Okay. I better get going", Jonah said.

"Go", both Corbyn and Jack said in unison.

"Okay. Bye then", Jonah said waving as he headed to where Eben's car was.

"Let's get going", Corbyn said looking at Jack who just got in the car and they drove off.

The ride to Jack's house was mostly filled with silence with occasional talk from both the boys which just included talking about their music and briefly about their families.

When they arrived at the house, Jack let Corbyn go in first after unlocking the door. They both took their shoes off and silently headed up to Jack's room.

"So, what do you want to do?", Jack asked Corbyn.

"Umm. Maybe watch a movie?", Corbyn suggested.

"Okay. Make yourself comfortable", Jack said nodding."And choose one of you want".

He pointed at the stack of dvds as he finished talking.

"I'll be right back with the snacks and drinks", Jack said and exited the room.

Corbyn quickly pulled out his phone and dialled Daniel's number.

"Hello", Daniel's voice said from the other side after a couple of seconds.

"Dani. Tell me this is not a good idea", Corbyn immediately hissed out.

"What is?", Daniel asked voice clearly stating confusion.

"I'm 'hanging out' with Jack alone", Corbyn sighed out.

"But I thought Jonah was with you guys", Daniel said still confused.

"No. He didn't come. Eb called him back home", Corbyn answered.

"Oh bummer", Daniel said trying to sound disappointed but failed.

"Why do I get the feeling that you're happy about this?", Corbyn said rolling his eyes.

"Because your crush of two years is hanging out with you alone. Anything could happen", Daniel answered and Corbyn could hear his smirk through the phone.

"Shut up and just tell me what to do", Corbyn said.

"You don't need to do anything. Just act normal", Daniel said.

Before Corbyn could respond the door handle turned and Jack walked in. Corbyn immediately ended the call and put his phone in his pocket.

"Sorry I couldn't find the drinks so it took a while", Jack said.

"It's okay", Corbyn answered smiling.

They set the drinks down and started the movie.

Halfway through somehow they had gotten quite closer to each other when Jack turned to ask Corbyn something he found himself really close to the other boy and blushed.
