Nobody's POV:-
Jack felt his heart clench when he heard what Daniel said.

"Oh okay. Thank you. Bye", Jack said before going to hang up.

"Wait Jack!", Daniel said on the other line and Jack stopped.

"Uh yeah", he said.

"Do you want me to tell him you called?", Daniel asked.

"Uh. That's fine. Thank you", Jack said.

"Okay", Daniel said.

"Wait Daniel", Jack said."Can you let me know how he is?".

"I'll text you", Daniel replied.

"Thanks", Jack mumbled before hanging up then he sighed. He headed back to his car and drove off as tears welled in his eyes. He harshly swiped them away. This was all his fault. If he hadn't lead Corbyn on and asked him for some space, this wouldn't have happened. Instead, he would happily be going back home to Corbyn. He had been given another chance to find true love and he had found it. But he failed to keep it because of his securities.

When he got back, he played it cool and didn't tell his sister or Olivia what happened. Instead smiling his best to not make them suspicious. But that night, when he got into bed, he made a decision. When Corbyn got back, he would prove himself to be worthy of his love. That man had done so much for him and he had taken it for granted. It was time for him to repay him back.

A week passed and Jack felt quite confident in himself now. He had changed himself alot and was now ready to face Corbyn. He had even gone to talk to Daniel and Zach for some help. Zach was reluctant in the beginning but Daniel helped him immediately and soon Zach gave in to. He realized that he didn't even know Corbyn's favorite things so he asked both Daniel and Zach about them.

He smiled as he woke up that morning. Only one week until he met Corbyn. He was excited and felt confident. Just one week then he could be with Corbyn again, without anything keeping them from letting the other know about their true feelings. He couldn't wait for Corbyn to come back home.

"How are you holding up?", Sydney asked him as he entered the kitchen."One week left".

She winked at her then smiled. She had noticed a drastic change in Jack and it wasn't a recent one. She had started to notice it since Corbyn came in his brother's life and he had noticed the change in behavior when they had stayed apart for some time as well. She had seen it in her brother's eyes, the love he felt for the other. He just hoped Corbyn would accept her brother back. He didn't want him to get hurt again.
