Nobody's POV:-
"Okay mom. Those are all the essentials", Corbyn said handing Mrs. Besson the last of the overnight bags.

Their sons were staying with their grandmother for the weekend since Corbyn and Jack wanted some alone time.

"Have fun boys", Mrs.Besson said as she kissed both men on their cheek.

"Goodbye Papa. Goodbye Daddy", Daniel called out.

"Goodbye", Jonah said.

"Bwye Bwye", Zach said waving one of his little hand while holding his grandmother's hand with the other.

"Goodbye", Jack said leaning down to kiss the boy's forehead. He hugged Jonah and Daniel and kissed their foreheads.

"Bye boys", Corbyn said hugging the older two and giving Zach a kiss on the forehead and cheek which made him giggle.

"Well bye", Mrs. Besson said as she ushered the three children out of the door.

As soon as the door closed, Corbyn smiled and sighed in relief. It was nice to relax again. Don't get him wrong. He loved his kids but it was nice to feel relaxed once in a while and he couldn't wait to spend the weekend with his husband. When he turned to look at Jack, he was still staring at the door.

"Honey. Are you okay?", he asked with concern as he saw his husband's eyes fill with tears.

"They're gone", Jack said.

It was the first time that the kids had stayed with someone. Corbyn and Jack didn't trust anyone with babysitting and both their moms were usually busy until this weekend. They also preferred to take care of their children on their own. When Jonah was born, Jack wouldn't let him out of his sight for even a second. It was hard on him now to see his sons go.

"Baby. They're not that far", Corbyn said immediately."I'll call my mom and tell her to bring them back. We can drop this whole thing".

"No no. I need to get used to this", Jack said trying to wipe his tears but they didn't stop coming."Soon enough they're going to be old enough to go to college. Oh, who am I kidding? I'm not ready".

"Love, Come here", Corbyn said opening his arms.

Jack walked to him and embraced his husband's warmth, immediately sighing into his touch.

"I'm sorry", he said after a minute.

Corbyn pulled away and cupped his face, wiping his tears away.

"Don't be", he said kissing him softly."Now, what do you say we watch a movie?".

The corner of Jack's lips went up and he smiled widely at his husband.

"Sounds good to me", he said dragging Corbyn to the couch.

"Hold on. I'll go get the snacks", Corbyn said.

"Okay", Jack said kissing his cheek and letting go of his hand.

Corbyn went to the kitchen and came back five minutes later with popcorn and two cans of soda, some chocolate and some chips.

"Ready?", he said, sitting next to Jack and placing the snacks in front of them.

Jack nodded and Corbyn pulled him close, wrapping them both in a blanket and snaking his arm around Jack's waist. Jack snuggled up to him and rested his head on his shoulder as Corbyn played the movie, setting the remote on the side table.
