Online Dating (Part 5)

Continuation of my Jarbyn one shot "Online Dating". Read it 😊.

Nobody's POV :-
It's been a week since their first date and today Corbyn and Jack were going on their third date. They had gone on their second one just two days ago and had gotten pretty close over the week, not to mention they texted every night. Currently Jack was getting ready for his third date.

Sydney was with Jack making him choose his outfit.

"Go with this one", she said holding up a red and black shirt with a pair of blue jeans and white shoes".

"Okay", Jack said taking the clothes but looked distracted.

"You okay?", Sydney asked.

"Yeah. Just a little nervous. He's meeting Olivia for the first time. I don't know what she'll think of him", Jack answered.

"Don't worry. She already loves him", Sydney said placing a hand in his shoulder.

"Speaking of, I still can't believe you didn't tell him about Olivia first", Jack said.

"I know. I'm sorry. It slipped my mind", Sydney said looking sheepish.

"It's fine", Jack said then headed into the bathroom to change.

He came out after a couple of minutes and Sydney smiled at him.

"You look amazing. He won't be able to resist you", she said.

Jack rolled his eyes at her.

"Syd. I don't want him to "want" me just yet. I need time", he said.

"I know that", Sydney said then pulled him into a hug."Good luck".

"Thanks?", Jack said before Sydney thrust his phone in his hand and pushed him towards the door.

Jack headed downstairs and just then the doorbell rang. Olivia was in the living room so she got up and headed to the front door to open it and when Jack came into the living room, he saw both Corbyn and Olivia talking excitedly with each other. He approached them and Corbyn finally looked up.

"Hey", the blue eyed said, getting up and kissing Jack's cheek. Jack smiled at him and took his hand.

"Ready to go?", he asked.

"Yeah", Jack answered, looking at Olivia.

"Bye dad", she said.

"Bye sweetie", he answered and bend down to hug her then walked out of the house with Corbyn. They got into the car and drove off.

"So, what did you think of Olivia?", Jack asked.

"She's a great kid", Corbyn answered smiling.

"I think she likes you", Jack said snd Corbyn turned to look at him immediately causing Jack to smile."Like really really like you. I've never seen her so comfortable with anyone other than me or Sydney".

"Wow. Guess I'm lucky", Corbyn said."I just hope her father likes me even more than she does".

"He does", Jack said and leaned forward to kiss Corbyn's cheek."Now what do you say we get to that date, Mr Besson".

"Right away, Mr Avery", Corbyn said saluting with one hand before driving off.
