Give your heart a break (Part 2).

Warnings~Mildly Strong Language. Part 2 of my one shot "Give your Heart a Break".
Jack's POV:-
After I told Daniel everything, he looked at me and sighed.
"Corbyn didn't tell you. Did he?", he asked.
"Tell me what?", I asked confused.
He cleared his throat.
"He had two boyfriends before you", he started."And they both treated him like shit. Only used him for their benefits. Corbyn was loved by all our teachers. And you probably know he's a really smart guy. Not to mention kind and generous. Well, they used him because of his innocence and to help them pass in the final term. Then they dumped him in the most cruel way possible. In front of the whole school, humiliating him".
"Oh", I said. It broke my heart to know that someone had done that to him.
Daniel put his hand on my shoulder.
"But I know you're different Jack", he said softly."I know you are meant for Corbyn. I know what's best for my best friend and you are the perfect guy for him. That is why I told you everything".
I sighed and ran a hand through my hair.
"Thanks", I said softly."But..He doesn't want me".
"Yes", he answered seriously.
I sighed.
Then he smiled.
"But he needs you", he continued.
"Thanks", I said smiling back.
"Uhh. Who else knows beside me?", I asked slowly.
"Only Zach", he answered."No one else".
Zach was Daniel's boyfriend. He was moving next week.
"Hmm", I said.
"Yeah", he said.
"So. What do you think I should do?", I asked looking at him."I mean. He's your best friend. You know him better than me".
"Well. I just suggest to approach slowly and earn his trust", he said."Show him you really care".
I nodded in response.
"But Avery", he said with a serious expression."If you break his heart. Trust me. I'll break you".
"Got it", I said nodding quickly."I promise I won't".
He smiled.
"I know you won't", he said.
"Thank you for trusting me", I said smiling back at him.
"Of Course", he answered."You seem like a trust worthy guy".
I smiled at him then got up, saying goodbye and headed home.
~Time Skip~(A few days later).
For the past few days, I've been trying to gain Corbyn's trust and he's finally starting to warm up to me again. He opened up to me about everything and I comforted him. Because that's what he needed at the time.
I had finally decided to ask him out again.
So tomorrow when Daniel and Zach were going to go on a date, I was going to try again.
A few hours later both of us were sitting in my living room watching a movie when both of us reached for the remote at the same time.
Corbyn grabbed it and paused the movie.
"I have something to tell you", we both said in unison.
"Really?", we both said again"So do I".
"You go first", we both said once more.
Corbyn took a deep breath.
"I really like you Jack and I'm ready to be with you. I'm ready to trust you. I'm ready to move on. Live my life with you", he said in one breath.
"Really?", I answered shocked."Me too".
He smiled and leaned in, kissing me softly whilst grabbing my face. I wrapped my arms around his neck.
We both pulled away after a few minutes.
"I love you", I said in a low voice.
"I love you too", he answered resting his forehead against mine"Be mine?".
"Of Course", I answered."But I've always been yours".
He smiled at me and pulled me in for another kiss this time wrapping his arms around my waist.
We pulled away and I rested my head on his shoulder, moving closer to him.
I loved him so much. And I was going to keep this boy safe and protect him even if I had to for the rest of my life.
